After over a week of relentless rain (July 2023) it's nice to look back at that Spring sunshine! Especially when we are forced to exercise indoors and dust off the Treadmill! I'm always amazed at how clean everywhere you go is. Whenever I go on country walks, there is litter, even in the middle of fields and woods! Thanks for these walks, enjoyable as always.
Steeple Ashton is a big and beautiful village lost in the English countryside!!. I liked its red brick houses, with half-timbering like in Normandy. The white ones with half-timbering are also very pretty. The ST.Mary church is remarkable for its architecture and its presence. the cemetery is full of sweetness; on a desire to rest on a bench. The interior of the church is also splendid; superbly maintained, flowered too. The children's corner still has the Christmas tree!!. A very very pleasant visit. THANKS 😀😀😀😀😀
A very beautiful quiet and peaceful village it is really a very nice place to walk around in and with the beautiful churches and the huge cemeteries surrounding them and the really nice houses and most of all is the very beautiful scenery there Thank You for another great video walking tour here of Steeple Ashton Village Thank You.😊😊 📹📱🚶🚶📱📹
👋👋👋 too wonderful! the village, the countryside, the cemetery, the church - it was all brilliant. extra special thanks for going into that wonderful shop. ❤❤❤❤❤ as a mum myself, i was so pleased you thanked your own mum. :)

Excellent walk with the sun out. Nice looking horse ,but who has to clean up if the horse 🐎 leaves a mess on the street.? Also beautiful church ⛪️. Thank you.
A lot of these villages/ hamlets you walk around are really off the beaten track on the road atlas. So I've been wondering, how on earth do you pick them or end up in them? There has to be a story there. Another beautiful walk in a surprising place I'd never heard of.
I am on a lot of pages on facebook of things like Beautiful Britain, and on Instagram, every time I see somewhere nice, I research it and mark it on my map. It currently has over 400 markings. So I have no shortage of places to visit! its simply finding the opportunities to visit.
@@DavesWalks Thanks for that reply. I keep forgetting that just because I don't use social media other people do. I did hope there was mysticism in your choices but the Internet has defeated me yet again haha.
How do you reduce or cut out vocal noise and increase background noise on your videos, always wanted to know we don't even hear you breath just the lovely nature or background noise? Please
The directional microphone does a good job of only picking up sounds in the direction of the camera. There be many times ill be huffing and puffing, especially after walking up a large hill. I don't do any sound adjustments in editing though.
Thanks for your videos, it’s great to explore new places vicariously 😂 I was just wondering as currently umming about the GoPro/DJI options for a new action camera mostly for hiking. you have the dji action cam and the dji pocket both listed, do you use both of them on the actual walks or is it mostly the pocket you use whilst walking?
No, In the UK there are laws and regulations in place regarding public rights of way, but the obligation for landowners to permit access depends on various factors such as the location, size of the property, and existence of established rights of way. Landowners in the UK may have obligations to maintain and allow access to established public footpaths and rights of way that cross their land. However, there are also provisions for landowners to apply for diversions or closures of footpaths in certain circumstances.
What an amazing place! I love it when you walk the mostly hidden paths between properties. thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it! I very much love walking down hidden paths, never know what might be found!

the church was so beautifully cared for and decorated. Anglicans seem to know how to arrange flowers better than anyone.

I like English villages so much . They are charming and make you feel comfortable. I wish I could visit England one day. All love from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦

Pocket for walking, and action for driving. Absolutely avoid GoPro at all costs :)
Can you walk through a nice neighborhood in Manchester???? Pretty please. Im from tbe US and im afraid of flying bit Ive always wanted to go there
If I ever get the chance sure :)
I have a question for you. Are all private land owners required to allow a public footpath to cross their property?
No, In the UK there are laws and regulations in place regarding public rights of way, but the obligation for landowners to permit access depends on various factors such as the location, size of the property, and existence of established rights of way. @@DavesWalks Thank you for your explanation. I love the public footpath idea. Nothing like that in the US that I am familiar with.
