Thank you , I had same issue , i thought my engine had gone bust. Until the mechanic sorted the bad valves , car drives smooth now .
This is exact same problem like mine. I think its DPF or AIR filter is stuck. But now i will check the EGR. Thank you .

I thought my starting problem had to do something with the glow plugs, because the pre owner cleaned the egr valve 2 years ago. But I´ll see if there is no carbon in it.
Another question. Did you have to relearn the throttle body position? Or juste clean and assemble everything back together without any learning of the throttle body? I would be really happy if you could tell me.

i had underboost fault so after visiting main dealers and being told it would cost over £3,000 to change parts that might not solve the issue.
I bought a TopDon domiagnostic tool, changed the turbo solenoid, got the engine terracleaned and changed all 4 glow plugs and the car started to perform better than ever before.

My 1.7cdti j Astra keeps giving message service power steering but I think mines electric steering because there’s no resorvoir to top up, how do you service an electric power steering??

If the car just idles no matter how much you press the gas pedal and it displays the "Reduced engine power" on the dash, the main fault is the throttle body. The mechanical part of it consists of two plastic interlocking wheels, which have the bad habit of wearing off. Worse still, the electronic controller on the throttle fails every now and then and it cannot be replaced separately.

My van when she is cold é gone, she works great.... But when she hits the 90 degrees, she start to shake and have bad aclererate on the 2000 rpm.... But if i hit the pedal acelerar te more she works good.....
The egr vavule is off, and the partícule filter is off too...
What do toy Sir think about it??

@@mbz4652 got rid of the car to many problems unfortunately will not buy another.
To many issues with the dpf and egr, fuel pressure sensor etc nice to drive when going but once the problems start get rid.
I did this but car still driving rough. Another video suggests it might be suction control valve. Please can you do video on this!!!

i had same thing first engine was idling rough then engine refused to start so i had to call for breakdown recovery they knew what it was immediately and hit the EGR with a hammer and it was fixed. The valve was stuck so i just bought a whole new EGR valve now it's like a new car.
What EGR? If you don't mind me asking

In my case problem was solved by cleaning throtle body and egr valve.

Opel Astra 1.7 CDTI 125HP 2012. godište. Pri ubrzanju na večim obrtajima auto malo trzne i kao da se zaguši. Spustim u niži stupanj prijenosa i obrtaji skoče, ali ubrzanje ostaje isto, auto jedva ubrzava, treba mu 5-6 sekundi do 40km/h. Nakon što ugasim i ponovno upalim motor auto radi normalno. Kada se to dogodi na komandnoj ploči upali se samo Service Vehicle Soon. Isto upozorenje pali se svako jutro, nakon što ga sklonim više se ne javlja do sljedećeg jutra. Na dijagnostoci izbacuje P0181 što je oznaka za senzor temperature goriva. Na servisu je taj senzor navodno promjenjen, ali problem je i dalje tu. Nekakva ideja ili savjet? Unaptijed hvala.
Bok Danijel, meni je greška ''service vheicle soon'' značila da je otišao jedan od grijača. Zamjenom grijača se sve riješilo.
@@bojanrakic8604 Hvala na odgovoru, grijače sam promjenio prije nekoliko mjeseci. U međuvremenu auto je odvezen drugome mehanicaru i on je otkrio da je zaštopan ventil u pumpi za gorivo. Problem je time riješen. Hvala još jedno.

@@aamiralikhan4228 managed to sort it was the plug that goes in to the ecu had bent pins so I used a pair of long nose to strighten them started and worked perfect had to reset codes after

Same car same problem here, I have a 1.7 2010 astra sri cdti and I'm experiencing the problem, its rough while idle and believe that's down to the Suction Control Valve, But I've been thinking the power issue is due to the MAF sensor needig cleaning so this will be what I try next, Should do the trick but rite now my diesel doesnt seem to last either

Hi mate I have a 2014 Astra j 1.4 petrol and it’s doing the exact same thing completely no power at all going up hill in 1’st gear could this be the problem?

I have 1.6 and its really struggling when accelerating and going up hill is horrendous! I also get a slight stutter when accelerating. Can't find a cause anywhere on Internet
@@0121Shotz turned out the cat was blocked and cost around £1000 to fix so I just sold the car
@@davidpearson85 will most likely be a blocked cat , apparently it’s a know issue with these motors , I’ve just sold mine on was quoted over £1000 to fix
I have astra g 1.6 16v and loss the power in pedal test tell this p0130 p1405 p0135, but mechanik tell the air intake sensor please tell me who is the problem when I am driving and pressing the gas pedal goes to stifle while pressing the pedal all the way down to half power
Had this problem on my 1.6 2008 astra, i paid 2 grand for this awful car , dealer refused to repair the car or refund my money , so my bf smashed all their car windows on their forecourt late at night, now they wont fuck anyone over ever again!!! , also moral of the story avoid Vauxhall or Opel they are even worse than French made car lol

I have just succumb to the problems you describe except for the engine cut out at roundabouts. I took it to a garage today for a diagnostic to see what the problem could be. Will get back to this page and let you know. I have been prewarned it could be the EGR as mention but what I would like to enlighten most of all or find out is if running the vehicle with this problem have any other effects on the car if not cleaned or renewed.
Did I mention I just finance this car just over 3 months and the problem occurred 2wks after the 3mnths insurance from the company ran out. Astra Estate 1.6 Ecoflex 5Dr Diesel Engine

Kako ti se ponašao auto?
Ponekad je izbacivao gresku da gubi snagu al sam zaboravio koji je kod izbaci na par sekundi i posle sve normalno. Pole nekog vremena je izbacio gresku i culo se lupetanje pa je auto bio u sfe modu onda sam ga zamenio al sam stavio polovan. Inace majstor ga je otvorio unutra se izjela plastika na zubcima.
Mile Poz da nije P2122 i P2138. Ja imam taj problem kazu mi da zamjenim leptir gasa.
