    Who needs a harpsichord with such lovely little magic box!

      I know it says this piece is in a minor, but imo this sounds great in the g minor tuning.

      The ShyGuy it's just not tuned like modern instruments.

      All right for a day or two, but I bet you wouldn't say that if you had nothing else to play for years at a time. The bass notes of a full sized harpsichord are magically beautiful.

      @@gerardvila4685 Amen, I don't even own a historical one(harpsichord), just a modern one from the 60s probably and it is still superior to this, but I would gladly own an ottavino for playing on the streets and things like these, they still have a use

    In the details to the right of the video, you will note that the instrument is tuned to about a minor 7th above modern pitch, or an octave above A392. This explains why it sounds like G minor.

    • @Starritt_Piano
      @Starritt_Piano Год назад +1

      A=392 is my favourite baroque pitch, it makes me fall asleep because of the physical response I experience from the resonance.

    • @agnidas5816
      @agnidas5816 11 месяцев назад +1

      It's not up an octave - octave doesn't affect the reference frequency. 392 = G#4 when A4 = 440.
      It's transposed down half a step but up an octave. Their reference A is still the same - they still use a 440HZ note on the instrument. The math- depend on it - they didn't pull 391.995 out of their ass - they got it by starting at 440.
      This is a 440 modern tuning instrument.

    • @agnidas5816
      @agnidas5816 11 месяцев назад

      391.955 is just G#4 when A is 440 HZ. Still 440 based tuning. @@Starritt_Piano

    02:04 y 02:38 mi parte favorita de este concierto 😍 se me hace nostálgica, aunque no me gusta mucho como después Vivaldi “lo resuelve” regresando al ritornello principal.
    Me encanta el sonido de tu instrumento! Una maravilla!

    Первая часть концерта ля минор Баха по Вивальди. Автор музыки Вивальди в переложении Баха для клавира. В то время так назывались все клавишные инструменты. Это клавесин, но есть такая музыка у Баха и для исполнения на органе.
