Great conversation with two great blokes down to earth and honest..Thank god folk like this can still be champions because it does some times appear you have to be a fucking madona to get anywhere these days !!!! TheT.T. is freedom to both us mere mortals and for those that race !! There is nothing like it on this planet and to hear these two make that comment sends shivers down my spine !!!!!!!!!!! Great chat and thanks to you both for sharing this with us all .. Lee just hope you are back on reall milk ????????????
I worship the road riders, did a track day with Jamie and Lee at croft and was totally star struck think Lee and Davey Todd thought I had a man crush lol 😃, they ran my group, was fantastic day and will never forget riding with both them, great lads , Jamie is great and runs a fantastic track day, so much better than MSV days I'll be back this year to croft with Jamie learnt so so much from Lee and Davey and now practice everything even on road has improved my riding
Not mental, just very skillful, confident (even if you dont think you are) and well prepared (mentally). The fact that you can smell the engines at the TT is special.
Hes not really, hes a real arrogant in person especially if u meet him in his home town alot of the locals he grew up with have complained how snobby he is now. This freindly persona is an act its just for sponsorship etc!
Well said about the 20th finisher. My hero is the rider on track because they have the balls to race, and I don't. Since my first TT/ManxGP in 1984, I have always cheered and clapped the last one home, still doing this today. I have also got some of my fellow Marshalls in section 10 to do the same now 👏👏👏👏
I took my missus to the TT a few years back, went to watch a bray hill, ffs I shat my pants when you came past and the missus nearly fainted and sat down against the wall! 🤣🤣🤣😱😱😱 you are all awesome whom ride around that place and hats off to you all!
25 minute mark reminds me of Kirkmichael on Tony Jones’s property in 2015, inside his dilapidated side gate, bikes coming past at 170mph through the lefthand kink, sucking the tightly adjusted cap off my head every time. Just magical.
What an absolutely genuine couple of guys….Lee I walked past you at Oulton Park garages and I was too shy to say hello, I wish I had done and wished you all the best for the TT. James you are a true legend also 👍👍👍
A real pleasure to watch two genuine and skilful lads having an open and honest chat in a nice selection of relaxed environments. Such a refreshing change from the drivel we often have to put up with to do with our beloved biking world.
Really enjoyed a good conversation between mates about motorcycles!! I’m a big fan of both of you gents so it’s cool to see how well you get on with each other. I’m in Kansas City, Missouri. Pretty much in the very middle the US and love bsb and the TT for about 20 years. RST is a great sponsor. Was just looking at Tractech evo 4 for myself. Keep making more content like this!
As a Manxie, i dont know all the names of the corners, But would know where every bump was, manhole cover etc, And after nipping over for my first roper trip in 20 years, The course fits you like a glove, Yes some places have changed, But by feck the focus got ragged that weekend, Good luck Lee,
Absolutely brilliant . Thank again James and Lee for being so honest and entertaining . Good luck to ALL / Everyone riding at the TT . Give it your best but above all keep safe 🤞👍
What a great video. Lee is such a down to earth guy and entertaining to watch. I met him at Cadwell Park last year and he was so kind and funny. Good luck for the TT Lee
Brilliant series James, great that you interview your mates, good luck Lee. Love the Huddersfield International Airport, especially the greeting, E Up, Welcome, bien venue, had me in bits. Thanks
Another fantastic down to earth interview with two legends, great stories and laughs ( the sandwich man with the beard! ) Thank you so much, all the best to all involved!
What a great show guys. So relaxed the banter between you two. Jim the bit at the end of the piece about mental health of men was spot on, well done to the both of you for bringing the issue up. Question for you, did you have to edit much swearing out? Lol. Ps the pictures of the island and my beloved Yorkshire near brought a tear to my eye here in West Australia. You are both legends. Keep it up.
Great vid James. Brilliant insight into one of the most talented road racers and indeed all round racers in the paddock who also happens to be one of the nicest guys around in bikes at the minute. I know lee says "he isn't a brave person" but my lasting memory of him was this tiny little guy aboard a superbike on a wet dundrod track with the thing squirming under him on the white lines at Jordans in the middle of the road yet him keeping it pinned on full gas......well if that ain't bravery then i just don't know what it is! Brilliant vid, thoroughly enjoyed it, keep em coming!
Absolutely bloody brilliant this, thoroughly enjoyed listening to a pair of absolute gents. Time passed by incredibly quickly listening to this. Great stuff lads 😎👍
So very cool that the Isle of Man TT is staying close to it's roots. I remember back in 1971 at the Monaco GP. I talked to Jackie Stewart on pit lane because the fans could do that then. Not anymore. The pits are off-limits to the public and its become an event for wealthy people to watch from the decks of their yachts, lol. The Isle of Man is the last place on Earth where common people like me can walk among the great racers and see the bikes close-up. Same for the course. You can sit by the road and watch the bikes fly past going 200 mph. I pray it never changes.
i raced MX for years and the start was by far the toughest part of the race.......fromt the time your race is called to sitting on starting gate, mentally trying to prepare yourself ( and it always seemed like forever).....am sure its same for any racer at any level.........its the best and worst all wrapped in at same moment.......once you start moving everything is fine......its the thinking that drives a person crazy imo
What a great interview two mates talking about stuff, very watchable. James has got the1 2 1 interview down to a fine art top quality. Lee comes across as a proper lad Great watch
you are so right mulsanne straight 1968 right on the grass next to the track having a drink, amazing, 1997 can't get near no idea what has gone past unless its the mazda,
2 of my favourite people, my favourite racers, and humble, funny, intelligent mates having a good chat.
Hope you make a full recovery, a lot to think about Lee, youv dodged a bullet ,all the best to you and your family ,
Well done for highlighting that friends are life savers in the battle of mental health.
Totally agree 🤝
I stopped racing on the island 10 years ago and just hearing
"Attention pits attention padock" still has my stomach in knots"
CANT WAIT 😁
Just two lads having a chat about bikes, racing and lots of other stuff but it makes great viewing. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻

Glad to hear that! 🙌
Thanks Jamie & Lee. All the best for the season to both of you.

Bloody brilliant! Two honest, down to earth lads chatting about their experiences.
2 absolute legends, really enjoyed that. Massive respect.
Really glad I found this. Lee has to be one of the nicest guys going. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!

@@jackrambo1999 Ooh dear, that's not a good look. Have you met him by any chance? I briefly saw him at Dundrod on '17 and seem amiable enough.
Couple legends 👏👏😎

Great interview. My greatest sadness is the James is not on the presenting team! Unbelievable!
What a great interview two mates talking about stuff, very watchable.

Great stuff as usual from you guys ! James couldn’t help notice the Honda in the background in your house . Is it an RS250 ?
Two top lads
Good luck
Legend? Brave? Lee sounds like a great, down to earth bloke who'd be good to chat to. How did he go operating the digger?
See Jeremy McWilliams is now running on the Burrows R6
There's also more people that have died climbing Everest than have died at the TT
He makes me laugh ah ah ah ah
HOW ENTERTAINING TO LISTEN TO THESE TWO NORMAL? NUTTERS good luck to you both in the future .
When Lee says that inside the helmet it's really peaceful, here's Hillier saying something similar: ruclips.net/video/zMv0ETbbYdk/видео.html
This lad has fooled everyone , hes not as nice as he acts !
