This video is absolutely fantastic. The music in sync with the badass track run, the sun scorching down with dusty roosters X4 flying. And then 8 wheels turning, gripping and fighting it out until the top. This machine looks to take it all well, and the control ability while in air looks top-notch. May have to get myself a present too from the big man 🎅 himself. Thanks @traxxas ❤️

Cool video. Just curious, what’s the overall consensus on those buying these limited runs - WHY the XMaxx Ultimate over the XRT Ultimate, or vice versa? Also, do you have a list of the $1K in upgraded parts that are on these special limited versions that are NOT on the standard XRT and XMaxx? I haven’t seen anything as of yet. Nice upgrade XRT. I'm happy with my stock XRT for now. Two months of problem free jumps and letting the dog chase it. But, it is very squeaky now. Can I add a bit of oil to the dog bones and cups, and the pinion/spur to quiet it up? Or will it attract too much dirt and debris causing it to wear? Instructions show no oil there.

Thanks. I'll try it and see how much crud it attracts. I guess it is easy enough to remove the dog bones and clean everything after a couple runs.

I have tried everything, but I can't get the Traxxas Link application to give me more than 6V or 7V. I have the Link module and 4S batteries, and I don't know what to do. Could you help me? Open Dashboard. Click on an area of dash to place a new gauge. Click green “+” sign to add gauge. Choose ESC VOLTAGE and for source choose ESC voltage NOT receiver voltage.
Doooooh just got the XRT black version. Oh well I love it and some RUclipsrs already saying the added weight from the metal parts make it prone to breaking?

The add aluminum which increases the weight, but they leave the ESC and motor stock. Ultimate nothing, would rather upgrade it the right way with M2C parts.

This is kind of silly, the very definition of too little too late (for too much) they try to make it “exclusive” like you’re lucky if you can even find one 🙄 Meanwhile HW have been offering EXBs en masse since wayyyy back.
They charge the apple tax (of which it’s not worthy) of an additional $1000(cad)!! Meanwhile we’d all be MUCH better off buying the standard XRT and getting superior upgrades elsewhere like M2C or Vitavon or Scorched etc… not to mention the crappy Traxxas electronics that have to go immediately. For that price I want to at least see a castle upgrade and a Savox servo (and a Spektrum rx/tx 🤣).
Do us a favour and offer a roller so we don’t have to mess with marketplace getting rid of the silly Velineon/Traxxas electrics
This is way to much money shame on you Traxxas for charging 1500 for these trucks everyone knows this is not worth 1500!!!! These models should come with all of the best parts to begin with for 999.99 this is a joke Traxxas quit trying to rip people off upgrade and revise your trucks to make the best rc you can but not change 500 more on an already expensive vehicle this is wrong Traxxas!!!
