Se non trovi nulla, cerca semplicemente "scherma medievale italia" o "buhurt italia" e dovrebbe uscirti qualcosa. Se sei emiliano ti consiglio la Gens Innominabilis di Castell'arquato (io sono di quelle parti). Se non sai proprio dove sbattere la testa puoi anche scrivere a loro per sapere di altre Gens in Italia

It was one some years ago, but was crushed quickly with a 2 meter Japanese with a Greathelm being the only one standing, their armors are too light so poleaxe blows take them out of balance quickly

Putting aside the pointless discussion about how this isn't historically accurate combat, somebody please explain the following to me:
If I understand correctly, the aim is to knock down all opposing fighters. Once you've been knocked down, you're out.
If this is the case, why do none of the fighters work together in any meanigful way?
You've got a line of guys with shields and swords and behind them a line of guys with polearms. The guys with polarms could easily hook an opponents leg or shield, pulling them forward and off balance, and then a guy with a shield just needs to topple them over.
So why does this not happen? As far as I can tell this is just an uncoordinated brawl until one side wins, more by chance than skill or teamwork...
i feel like what they are doing is way more entertaining and worth watching than what you would think they should do. If all they were doing was tripping and pushing each other over i would have gotten bored and never even finished the video....
why spend money on a full set of armor and weapons if you're not going to swing a bit right :p
LegionaryCohort480 In the heat of combat, it's very difficult to coordinate. This may not be historically accurate, however in the old wars that would've taken place using plates of steel, maille, polearms/spears, swords and the such, coordination was very difficult due to the masse scale and difficulty of communication. Despite what you've seen in 300, it was very difficult to organize and KEEP it organized throughout the length of a war.
In addition to what I previously said, there is a set of rules (however I may not be fully educated on every rule) that prevent certain actions from being done. A few of those actions are as follows: Stabbing (with either polearm, spear or sword), attacks on body parts below the knee, neck attacks, and many more.
