I think the strange and ironic thing is that if Zelena had told Regina that she was her sister, Regina would have accepted her with open arms. She always wanted a family at least one more than Cora could offer, and Zelena had the captacity for that but she turned green with envy and she let that poison her mind.

God, I love these two. I know that some people don't like Zelena, but I love her. Rebecca makes her such a joy to watch, and her constant sass makes her one of my favorite characters alongside Regina. I just love them!! Also, love or hate her, Zelena has the best one-liners. Not a dull moment with her!
new theory: the baby that Cora presents to everyone in "The Miller's Daughter" is actually Zelena but Cora sent her away realizing that she wasnt Prince Henry's child but Rumple's. She even took away her name and thus she became Zelena, the Wicked Witch. Once Regina was born Cora gave her her sister's name.
Nah, she knew Zelena wasn’t a princes, the guy told Cora he wasn’t actually a prince when she went to tell him she was pregnant, that’s why she gave her up.

Cora rip out her heart before Regina was even born thus she was never loved. that split moment when she got her heart back showed how much she did love her daughter, just couldn't show it for long before she died from the dark spell that snow white cast. Zelena kept getting happy endings but rejects them cause they weren't regina's happy ending. Zelena kept wanting what Regina had and never could accept her own happy ending. she wanted Regina happy ending. First (1) Zelena learned she had a sister. had she went to Regina, Regina wouldn't of needed to cast a curse to get a family and Zelena would of had a family with Regina. they could of teamed up or something for good or bad. 2nd (2) Zelena could of forget Regina and became one of the 4 sister guardians of Oz. instead of taking in Dorathy as a daughter, sympathizing what Dorathy went through, or helping Dorathy get home, she turn wicked and tried to kill her instead. 3rd (3) Zelda could of turned Hadies into love and she could of ruled by his side. insead she rejects him and then tries to steal Robin from Regina. (4) Regina tries to give Zelena another chance to accept a new life and change the way everyone accepted Regina. Zelena decided she wasn't ready or want to change and so rejected the 2nd chance at life with friends and family.
I like Regina more than Zelena, but I do love Zelena she is my 4th favourite. Order of favourites: Rumplestiltskin, Regina, Emma, Zelena, Red, Belle, Snow, David, Hook, Henry, Robin.

Eh, I have to disagree, Zelena spent so much time putting all the blame on Regina for all the crap she went through, evident from the fact she said “mom gave me up and gave you everything” and she didn’t even realize the only reason that Cora kept Regina was because she had royal blood and she was part of her plan to get out of being known as a Millers daughter.
I think the red head is a great fit for the character and the evil Queens character is a great fit as well. I just don't like maleficents character in the show
