Government can’t efficiently manage roads or anything else! Government is BY DEFINITION an inherently inefficient, wasteful, & coercive territorial monopolist of ultimate decisionmaking & violence (all history demonstrates this as does simple logic). Taxation is theft of income-everyone on the Government payroll leads a parasitic existence at the expense of a subdued & “host” populace…

I bet if F1 was coming through there this wouldn't be a problem. After living here for years I can say the city doesn't care about anything or anyone that doesn't involve the strip. The city has forgot that if residents didn't live here there would be no strip. I feel so bad for this community.....our street is crap too. Potholes and cracks from Tropicana to Harmon.

Yup must be corrupt these residents pay property taxes and DMV fees every year I see needless road works everywhere where no one works. This is beyond ridiculous.
This is what happen to people who don't organized and look out for each other, It seems the residents are too busy working, and they have no time to complain about the roads. They should ask youtubers to come out there and make videos about the roads and the City council. How many cars broke down because of these potholes?
these potholes are features to slow down speeders.
Maintenance plan should already been developed/ implemented by county public works.

Durango between I want to say just north of Russel and Flamingo was like this for a decade until they finally got around to patching it around 2018. I use to take that road home from work and it felt like I was on some cheap back massage chair during that entire stretch, vibrating, rocking and jumping...

Government is not our leader it is our Representative.... Servants...it's time we remember that..maybe we get our roads fixed.
That’s ridiculous! When government fails you, you need to handle things yourself. It’s sad to say that since we pay a lot in taxes but since government at all levels are beyond corrupt, what else can you expect?
The city is to busy tearing down casinos and rebuilding them ..

If you’re going to criticize, criticize about some thing that actually makes sense. Someone cannot neglect infrastructure for generations and then expect it to be repaired instantly. That’s beyond silly. And I believe the infrastructure bill is about major infrastructure where our roads and bridges are breaking down, not the average pothole.
I think we have a few potholes between someone’s ears. At least that’s what “he said“. 😮

Where I live, the county won’t take any more little subdivisions over I moved into a older subdivision. The road is falling apart now all the owners of property are fighting back-and-forth to force everybody into pain to fix the road and nobody wants to cost about $5000 a person just to Black Top, I would give mine to get the road done but there’s some of these people that moved in from California that think we need a freeway it needs to be widened. It’s like what no my $5000 not going towards that not one dollar now
@TheBmco99~ this is do to your city and state ~ everyone pays property tax DMV tax and they steal all the unregistered vehicles to sell who told them to build a stadium and a dumb race track? Then raised your rent and property tax but they never fix your streets and highways? Why aren’t you people asking the city commissioners why they turned a blind eye? Everyone pays taxes seems like this city likes to invest tax payer money on unnecessary stadiums and race tracks. It’s your tax money so ask them why they aren’t doing their job? What a phony city and state.
@@anthonymartinez4307 that’s what I told everybody that lives in here we need to go down and raise hill with the county commissioners. They need to lower our property taxes either that or fix our road. We get a lot of snow in the winter. We have to pay to get it plowed sometimes we don’t even get it plowed. It takes a dozer caterpillar to open it up. We have so much snow.

Las Vegas uses OUR money and out of nowhere comes up with all the financial assistance that F1 REQUIRED, without any regards to taking care of the neighborhoods around the city and more. Yes, it was OUR money that went to the building of the F1 racing CRAP, the repaving of the strip and surrounding roads for the track and more. Las Vegas is FOS.
F1 and the strip are not in las vegas and F1 paid for the re paving ..F1 asked for $10mil from the county for the re paving when it was almost done the county still has not agreed to pay that money
