I don't see whats so hard to appreciate about Prd being a whole new guitar all its own, instead of comparing it to things.

Holy crap, if he was holding a Strat and had this tone, NO ONE would complain.

I have seen Buddy live over a dozen times..I've worked at his show where he walked off stage and handed me his guitar so he could sign autographs...and I love my PRS..but this is not the tone for Buddy. Not even close to what I have come to know from Buddy Guy! Of course what amp he is playing through on this clip is unknown too.

sorry the 513 and 305 are the only guitars that take the strat, tele and les paul to new heights with plenty of soul. Just open your eyes and you won't let them go. Live with one for a while and you will see!

@bigleemac soul does not come from the guitar t comes from the player.

It sounds better than a Strat you PRS knockers, move on things, have got better, anyway his fingers are most of the tone, makes the PRS sound like a 335.

OK PRS FANS...this is the worst tone I've ever heard from Buddy....if it just came from the fingers....might as well play air guitar....dorks...I love you Buddy...stick with 335's and Strats.....
