    1. Samsung M30s (Standard cam)
    2. Samsung Galaxy S7 ( Telescope camera)
    Material Used:-
    1. Two Identical Achromatic Doublet Lenses (4 elements) Dia. 20mm (50mm focal length )
    ​Material - Glass
    3. Pipes and socket
    1/2" upvc socket (lens housing)
    ​5mm pvc pipe (spacer between lenses)
    ​32mm (1.25") Dia. pvc pipe (main body)
    4. Black Sandpaper (anti reflecting inner coat )
    Tools Used:-
    1. Hacksaw
    2. caliper tool
    3. Sandpaper
    4. Scale

    hi , can you please share the working /design and construction and optical formulas of the plossal eyepiece ,
    i searched but there is no one source of info on the web , and it gets confusing

      Few things need to be considered while making plossl eyepiece
      1. Both lenses should be achromatic doublet
      2. Keep minimum distance between two lenses for maximum magnification
      3. Use anti reflective coating or black paper from inside (i use black painted 400 grit sandpaper for this and it works great.

      Value of spacer is up to you... It will define tha magnification....so minimum is better

    That len was convex and concave or convex and flat ? Also how much mm long 1len was?

      Both lenses are plano convex means one side is flat and other is covex....both lenses are identical 20mm in dia

      Actually I retrieved theses lenses for old binacular....but recently I found similar lenses on Amazon...but small. In diameter

      you will get approximately 9x magnification... 127/14 =9

      best way to measure spacers c is just open it and measure.... don't fall in calculation if you have it already... i beleive that there will be a minimum almost no space between lenses.....

      @@sandyriyadi Hi, thankyou... Distance or value of C is as minimum as possible.... but avoid touching lens surfaces eachother....5mm will be perfect in most cases 👍
