Oh Johnie! I am so glad that you found out about that puzzle store. I am homebound so 99% of my puzzle shopping is online with the last 1% being gifts. You have WAY more self-control than I do! Enjoy! Enjoy! Enjoy!
Thanks so much for taking us along on this little field trip :-) if you’re ever in Montreal I’d love to see the best places to shop there for puzzles. Personally I came across the museum shop at the McCord Museum which carries theCanadian indigenous puzzle lines.
Ohh wow, I never heard of that one! I've read about a few places in Montreal from the Facebook group. I'll have to visit later. Boutique Imaginaire in Sherbrooke had a pretty good inventory (Carefour de l'Estrie). Atlas in Granby looked pretty big too. Shopping online is more convenient but there's something about going in a store and the excitement of hunting for a cool puzzle. It's a different experience.
Thanks for another great video Johnie. I wish I had a puzzle store like that near me here in the U.S. You would like the magnolia puzzles since you like the Yazz brand. Yazz is made by magnolia and they are basically the same thing. I have a tall stack of each and love them all. I’m a big fan of Jacarou as well. Really shiny finish, but soooo colorful it’s worth it. Keep the great videos coming, I love them!
Great haul, lots of difficult puzzles. Wish we had at least one puzzle store with these much variety, the stores here in Brazil only carry the nationals brands.
Hi, Jigsaw Johnie. Yeah, you bought Jazzy. It was me who suggested it; you mentioned me!! How cool. The Impossibles Mr. Potato Head looks super hard. No edges. Ahh. My favorites in your haul are the Yazz Halloween and the Ja Ca Rou "We Can Do It!" Looking forward to watching your upcoming videos.
Wow great puzzle store, so many great brands, awesome selection. JaCaRou is my favorite brand. Love the cut, love the quality, but I especially love Anie Maltais artwork. You picked up a fun selection, looking forward to the videos.
Wow! Fantastic video. Loved hearing about the store, the shots of the inside, then why you chose those puzzles. Finally, the art in each of your choices was amazing. The worker lady should probably go on the wall it is breathtaking. I've enjoyed Eurographics, they have been great for me.
If you didn’t know, the Yazz brand is part of the magnolia puzzle brand. They have both of those brands on puzzles Canada website. They’re located in Georgetown Ontario. That’s where I mainly buy my puzzles. I’m on Vancouver island. Happy puzzling!
@@JigsawJohnie It was amazing! haha so many puzzles and I finally found one of the puzzles from the usa nationals that was sold-out everywhere. Btw, j'ai vu que sur le site de Puzzles Canada there's the New York City postcard puzzle available.
Magnolia, Yass and Enjoy brands, I believe, are all manufactured by the same company. They are great quality - matte, well fitting pieces that do not get damaged upon disassembly. I don't favor neon computer generated images; I'm selective and stick to what I like. Magnolia has some really cool images and I have many of them. I have four or five Enjoy and a Yazz. I really favor the Magnolia brand. Both Eurographics and Cobble Hill are economically priced, and are good quality. I stay away from puzzles that are glossy, and have found many in these two brands that are matte/linen finish. Wide selection of images. Can't go wrong. I've never seen a Big Stop. I'm only about 4 hours away from Puzzles Canada. Shipping is a flat rate in Canada of $7, so buying enough puzzles to qualify for free shipping ends up costing much more, but is an excuse I use all the time!! (I just received an order from them today that includes Ravensburger New York Postcard whoot!! whoot!!)
Wow I'm in montreal and 100% have to drive out to that store one day! Did you find the prices to be about the same as online or were they overpriced? Thanks for the info!
Can you shop on the Amazon-US site (or have someone that can for you) OR are you restricted to Amazon-CA? The Ravensburger New York Postcard is in stock for $16.50 USD That is the COOLEST store! I would get myself in so much trouble there. LOL!

So many great puzzles
