That math problem was the most 35P thing possible, Elite.
I'm not sure if I'm more impressed with the 35P who came up with it, or with Mikocchi for solving it correctly, even though she got a little help.
I knew the answer even before solving it!! You can't have a bunch of 3's and 5's without the answer equalling 35! They're all a bunch of geniuses, honestly.
"Ikemen.. First its not Ao-kuyu"
She pointing the wrong answer first LOL
The worst she can say is, "No."
Miko: "You're creepy, next."
I didn't hear a no
For some, that's a reward
"You've been working in Japan for 5 years now" 💀 That is Japanese passive aggressiveness at it's finest
"For OVER 5 years".
_Technically_ true.
Elite maths
Exactly! only one elite mikochi.
0:37 her voice cracks lol, she really traumatized by math 😂
Mikochi: Hey I'm Japanese! FAQ!!
everyone: Nope, you are *Elite*
She's gotten better at math too! すごい!!!
Miko: "3x5÷3 is 5"
*Writes (15)*
not only her japanese, but also her math too! elite miko growing up so quickly!
Wow, she actually solved the math problem correctly. Pretty impressive application of Elite Maths.
Classic 35p.. never miss chance to bully miko 😂😂😂
The math problem was pretty smart, It looks complicated but in reality is fairly easy and the answer is 35.
Actually the tricky part was that the first number doesn't even matter. The 2nd and 3rd part eliminate each other, so whatever number stands in front is the final answer. It is 35 to confuse you by looking similar to the rest of the problem.
Pretty interesting answers for the last question lol. Guess the charisma break for Ao-kun & Suisei were hard to ignore.
I wonder if the ikemen vibes Miko's talking about Shuba is more like the stereotypical smooth talker, or the easy to talk to tomboyish/sporty type. Shuba did gain levels from playing Persona and FF7 after all.
Its probably a combination. Subaru is sporty, outgoing, witty, approachable and a natural smooth talker, all traits that make her boyish and "ikemen". The only thing she lacks is the aggressive flirt, but she can turn that on too
Ikemen girls kinda has two types. Ao-kun is the "girl ikemen" type while Subaru is the "boyish ikemen" type. The first sells the dream of being a princess while the latter is, well, dream of being a girl, get that? The girls in all-girls school can't experience being a "girl" cause there's no men in it, but Subaru-type can sell that dream hence why Miko said she could be popular
So I guess Miko perceives ikemen-ness through how much they can sell the "girl experience"
Kobo shows this comparison with how lovestruck she was with Ao-kun as she's always wanted to be the princess

HoloEM (Elite Miko)
Aw... she didn't realize the beauty in that math question?
All of it was 35 which also results in 35
Even the one in parentheses is a beauty like how it's 3x5/3=5
Sasuga Mikochi, she improved her Japanese and Elite Math so fast xD
the duck reign supreme!
I love how even the JP members don't think Ao-kun is an Ikemen.
Just realize the answer of the math problem is Miko
Really good one lol
Ngl she was lowkey better than me I almost forgot that the 35 divided by the brackets takes precedence before the rest with the adding and subtracting
that's got to be the best marshmallow sent ever in the history of marshmallows XD
That second one was pretty effective xD
For those like me who got real confused and needed a crash course in math: acronyms like PEMDAS imply a fixed order of addition _then_ subtraction, but they actually happen at the same time, left to right. (And the same for the multiplication/division step, which you can blunder though in this case.) It's more like PE(MD)(AS).
So:
35-15 +7 +3 +5 = 35.
I'm sure this wasn't a thing when I was a kid, kind of pissed I've never known about this and no popular math problem I've seen until now has never highlighted this for me. The more I know.
I'm glad you got to learn it. I was definitely taught that in math class, and I'm almost 33.
Also Miko almost made me write 35 there.
Would you be shocked if I told you that I was taught to use BDMAS where u first deal with brackets and first solve the division then multiplication followed by addition and subtraction
My answers were in decimals........😢
In the 1st annual Hololive draft, EN selects...Miko
Aw, Mikochi has learned arithmetics, how sweet. Maybe now she'll proceed to kindergarten 3 😁
If you ask me, nobody in Hololive is ikemen. They're all either too cute or too goofy to fit the bill.
Let’s be real.
Her Japanese Did improved in the 5 years.
She couldn’t read most kanji in the past, and sometimes failed to understand phrases in Japanese.
Man I havent done ANY math in so long, the answer was 35, got jumbled and juggled like a hockey puck, but I got it
1:55 why did she suddenly sound like a mature Ara Ara lady
She's REALLY good at voice acting. I bet that she can be like Kronii if she wants
@@nddl1927 I believe too
"Who is the most ikemen"
Miko: first of all, let's start the preliminary stage.
Okay, wait. I'm supposed to do the multiples and divisions first right? I can do all the calculations but these rules for what's supposed to be done first are confusing me.
35-(3*5)+35/(3*5/3)+3+5
35-15+++(35/5)+3+5
35-15+++7+3+5
20+7+3+5
27+3+5
30+5
=35
Okay, got it. I was right. It's additions last.
Did Miko actually work out the answer or did she just realise that the fact that it kept repeating 35 and used some pattern recognition?
Looks like she worked it out.
Parenthesis, Exponent, Multiplication/Division, Addition/subtraction.
She managed to write it her workings fully at 2:39 btw
"You can ask anything to Miko-chi."
Bro really said :
"35-3×5+35÷(3×5÷3)+3+5=" 😂
This is Elite Shade.
I knew she would say Subaru is the most ikemen-like
ah yes i remember those math problems. my issue? nerver reading it more than once and think the result is correct.
but that is one good looking problem. gotta love the mathemathical "symmetry" of it all.
Miko is the first and last Holomem from the Elite Branch. I believe that someday she will follow in the steps of other foreign idols like Hakostaro and master Japanese.
she was right the first time, 3*5/3 is 5
eeeeeeh baka Miko... (3x5/3) obviously the x3 cancels the /3 😨
*SKM Tries It™:Bugged Arithmetic Mechanics (Baldi's Basics Edition)*
Someone gave her a math problem.
You don't need to solve the equation to know the answer was obviously 35, because 35 is pronounced Migo in japanese (written in kanji as miko), hence why her fans are called 35p (mikopi).
She got Nihongo Jozu-ed
OK, she bypass everything because she said I will do it later, but you know when people say to the math I will do it later. They will never do it later. I can assure that. 😂LMAO
For Personality yeah Subaru is Ikemen
For the record, the answer to the math problem is…

35!
The steps will be in a reply.
I like how the problem starts by using only 3, 5, and 35, and the answer is also 35.
I thought ! was a factorial trick lol
Wow, Subaru being the most girly and most ikemen at the same time is so hilarious to me.
Hold up, everyone's saying the answer is 35 but I keep getting 5. Can someone math check me real quick:
So going by BODMAS, you do the brackets first as 5/3x3, which is just 5. Then 35/5 is 7, so it becomes 35-3x5+7+3+5. 3 x 5 is 15, 15+7+3+5 is 30, and then 35-30 is 5.
35-15+7+3+5 = 35
Despite being written as bodmAS (or pemdAS), Substraction and Addition actually have the same priority, whatever is left is solved first, so you solve 35 - 15 first (20), then add 7, and then 3+5.
@@federicopalacios7439I learnt it as BIDMAS (brackets, indices, division, multiplication, addition, subtraction). I forgot that the D&M have equal priority and then the A&D have equal priority. Nice to have a refresher!
I'm surprised anyone can understand her ever

If you showed that problem to a mathematician, he'd probably ask what those subtraction signs with dots around them are supposed to mean
Right, because the division sign would be totally obscure to a mathematician.

Ikemen = normie to Miko huh. I would have answered Suisei
Considering that Ikemen means 'prettyboy', as Subaru is a tomboy, she's the most boyish of the lot. She's also something of a heartthrob amongst the girls because of her sincere compliments and work ethic.
Suisei and Ao-kuyu have the most ikemen designs... but their personalities shine through far too much.
@@alanepithet2931meanwhile Holostars: do we really exist?
subaru more like cute tomboy version not same as ikemen...hololive ikemen is Kroni/moona without the booba or maybe ao/suisei
