MNC Outdoors - Striper Fishing in the Connecticut River

- Paul Sam & Pat B are fishing for Striped Bass from the shore of the Connecticut River.
Pat catches a small 'Schoolie' Striper and then later catches a heavy 28" keeper. Paul wasn't as lucky and only caught a tiny White Perch.
It is early in the year and the water level is a bit high still at this point. You can see evidence of this in the video when Pat is landing the keeper; we were reeling in over some shrubs/bushes that are usually behind us when we are fishing. When the water recedes there will be about 15 more feet of rocky beach exposed and it is much easier to land the fish.
