best tip from me.... stay off your cell phones 📵 at night let your night vision adjust to fishing at night and keep your ears peeled wide open because at about zero 4 hundred hours i started to hear splashes and slurps and then I set my eyes out on the water and seen a quick blitz happen and was like o shnap a blitz in the dark.... I casted out near there and whammmmmm
Pro night surf tips: 1. Be mindful of other anglers. Keep your stupid white light off. Unless for dangerous navigation. 2. Crush all your barbs. Keep pressure on a fish and you wont ever lose it. No hospital trips. 3. Pre-tie leaders 4. Leave no evidence of yourself other than foot prints. 5. Stay frosty
Um, how can you have a silhouette when the waters black because it's so dark. Also, the water is really black because water is muddy black on black, and I hate to say it doesn't stand out. Can be easily proven. For example, I had my wallet on my bed, and it was black, and my black cat laying down half covering my wallet it was hard to find. 😂
This is awesome! My next goal is to catch some at night. Hopefully the west coast stripers act similarly to their east coast relatives
Good tips. Learning new techniques/tips is never a bad thing. Thanks.

underrated tip. after some time, you can see pretty damn well in pitch black after getting used to it.
I've never had any luck at the canal but I've seen all the catches
Fish the inside bends, cast parallel to the riprap or just pay out line let the current take your lure, they’re in close most times.
@@steveg8322 thanks
stay positive and you'll figure it out like ive done
@@josephmannix5120 You’re welcome, though it is hard to do when the Canal banks are crowded.
How donyounfish the soft plastics. Slow retrieve?
Hi , do you have a link to that black hard plastic bass lure please
Black and white you got it right
Good insight, but I like to burn them pretty quick in quiet back bays. Problem with SP minnow for me, in rough conditions its hard to cast at the surf
😊
Thanks for the tips! Could you guys do more videos on nighttime striper fishing!
Caught 6 last night off block island at the potato, with eels.

You should be able to tie knots at night with no light red or green light will not scare fish
Night time is all about being slow retrieve
