This same group at D1 says the RPI is flawed, yet when the committee deviates away from it (rightfully so), it’s blasphemy? Pick a lane. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Fix the goddamn RPI . We beat Rice and lose 6 points on our RPI while UNC , who we one a series , doesn't even play and picks up 7 !

Even with the few wins they have in the tournament there are still 116 D1 teams with a better win %. At the end of the regular season there would have been about 170 other teams. Yet they get an at large bid? TCU at 33-21 much much better didn’t get in. You can say that with dozens of teams who were passed over for a 28-27 team. It is the selection committee that needs help.
Seems this has been an issue for decades. I know Gary Ward had a huge issue with the people on the committee.
