- This is Mike in Indy's 2nd place call for Smack-off 2009. Mike in Indy and Brad in Corona went back to back with what Rome labeled the two best rookie calls in the history of the show. Rome admitted many listeners thought this was the winning call and Rome himself described it as "genius" after a second listen, but Brad in Corona had already been crowned as champ. Comedian Jay Mohr's call is also worth a listen, he should have placed much higher than 10th.

Brad remixed the same smack that the guy from Grand Rapids had. He told his daughter that she Vic in Nocaled the bed when the Grand Rapidian said the same stuff about J-Stu. If you're gonna be penalized for coming in early then you get penalize for using or remixing someone elses smack. Thats the risk you take when you try to lay low and see how it plays out before you call, someone might use your material. BTW, I think Rachel should've cracked the top 5.
He should have won
I personally liked Brad, Greg, and Vic in NoCal (who I usually don't like, but he definitely brought the goods) for my top 3. Mike in Indy's call was pretty decent, but didn't have me crying like those 3 did.
I hope Rome and the XR4TI gets it right this year. Mike in Indy killed it last year and should have won. Bring on the 2010 Smack Off tomorrow. Rachel in Houston I thought did better than where she was ranked. I think because she was one of the first callers that she didn't stick out as much.
The closing of the call should for this call should have been: I do declare. I do declare. Now, I'm done. CROWN ME!!!! I think if Mike from Indy said that, he wins. Personally, I think Mike had the better call that day.

I still think Jay Mohrs was the best only because he didnt spend the entire rant bashing other clones.
Mikes for me was much better than brads.
If it came down to these 2 Mike wins.Brad had WAAYY to much ranting on other clones.

The call had some enthusiasm, but it reeked of reading and reciting, and the end sounded like a 15 year old boy getting his dinky stinky for the 1st time. I heard Mike's 1st call on National Championship Monday in 2009, and it was good, but this was aweful.
