I love the quality in m&s too, but i just can't afford it anymore. I tend to shop in Lidl for tins/packets/household but have found their produce has definitely improved, mostly british too. Ocado online have sone great buys and m&s treats too. Thanks for video x
Thanks for sharing!! I don't buy a lot of tinned stuff due to stomach issues. I only get certain things from M&S and the produce lasts much longer in my opinion. I'm not big on online grocery Shopping as I find the pickers don't often do a good job.
Thank you so much 🤗 and thanks for joining the family 😘. I love getting him involved when it comes to finances. I do try not to overwhem him. He was a good sport 🩷
Hi, just an observation if your on a low budget would it not help to shop at a cheaper supermarket, it’s absolutely shocking now how much groceries cost xx
Heya, I actually prefer quality over quantity. I get what I need from M&S and then shop around for other bits. I think I get quite a selection for my money. Some of the items are not often regular purchases. I enjoy the ease of shopping as well
M&S isn't that bad compared to the other supermarkets now surprisingly. Especially if you're savvy with it and go at night for the reduced fresh items. I personally think sainsburys is the best with the nectar price and points. I stopped using asda and aldi because I noticed the increase and the fresh food is very poor quality, especially aldi. I guess it depends what you buy, but i like to mix between m&s, sainsburys and Costco
@tomjones9383 it really isn't that bad so long as you know what you're getting. I love their fruits and veg it lasts longer. I don't get the privilege of mark downs as there's never much when I go in due to me getting there late. I went to Aldi today, and the prices weren't hugely different.
Hi! I just love to see you and The little one such a beautiful bond Groceries are so expensive these days super expensive and less groceries. Every time I finish shopping I’m like My God! lol I love watching your vids … I’ve gotta get caught up lol … Blessings to you Queen from The Most High God
You shop with good nutrition in mind, I’m guessing you have a background in either nutrition or health. I have a couple of chronic health conditions and try to get organic wherever I can, I have to pop into M & S occasionally for gluten free products so will try more products if I can afford it. Your son is so cute and very helpful.
Hi Hev, this is such a lovely compliment. I don't have a background in either, but I'm very knowledgeable with both. If only I consistently apply it to my life. I've not tried their gluten-free stuff. What do you usually get that's nice? I love getting him involved with the shop so he can see how much things cost. THANKS for watching 🩷
@@jahcia I loved watching your shopping vlog! Not a healthy option but very nice are the “made without” shortbread rounds. Also the “Made without” Christmas pudding and the gluten free bread. The gluten free sausage rolls, when you can get them are lovely but very expensive. It’s not cheap having to eat gluten free. The produce from M and S is much better than elsewhere and we buy the meal deal specials e.g., for Christmas, valentines etc but normally only one item from each range is gluten free. Keep going with you tube we are all learning from each other.
@@hev2519thank you so much. I use to do these videos years ago but I had stopped just after covid in 2020. I'll keep my eye out for the shortbread rounds. I use to eat gluten free as gluten creates chaos in my stomach. No have special dietary requirements is very expensive, I know this too well. Yes, the produce is so good. I've finished filming and editing my Aldi Grocery shop video that will be up soon. Lot's of people often praise the meal deals. I sometimes treat myself to the chicken ceasar shake a salad. Thanks so much, love that we can all learn from each other. ❤
Hi Pauline, thanks for your input. We are no longer excessive consumers. We buy what we need for the week. We have our dried goods already so these bits are just for our weekly top ups. We don't usually buy the haddock, this is my second time buying it..that alone was £5+. My weekly m&s shop is usually £30 or less. Thanks for watching 🤗
I get that. I know what I get from m&s weekly, so I don't find it too bad for the quality of items I get. I do semi bulk buy in Costco, and that helps a great deal. 🩷
Your video randomly came up and love budget hauls. Wondered if you had a list in hand and meal plans in mind. Does your son take packed lunches to school. Seemed a very healthy goof quality shop but the cost of some of the items just seemed so high. Why did you choose marks and spencer if only half the usual grocery money this week?
Hiya, thanks for stopping by and watching our content. I had a mental note of what I wanted to make that week so I got those bits. Yes, my son takes pack lunches to school Mon-Thur. He's only started asking for hot dinners on Friday as its fish and chips. I do agree that the cost for some items were high like the chocolate lollies and chocolate bar. The bread I got due to the less ingredients. I love M&S and waitrose, the quality is so much better. But we no longer have a waitrose. I would have paid the same if not more in Tesco/ Sainsburys for what I got in M&S. It is just a preference. I do get bits from Costco and other stores as well. Hope this answers your question xx 😘
@jahcia I hope you dident find it offensive. Could you maybe do a meal plan with each haul and snacks as found it hard to visualise how many meals you would make is that for 6 or 7 days. Breakfast/ lunch/ dinner snacks and drinks for you and your son. I live waitrose too but so far away marks is fairly local but I have 4 children so dread to think if cost there. Only go marks and waitrose for rare treat or reduction. I love to buy higher welfare and more fruit but find with cost of living crisis I feel this area of my shopping budget is feeling squeezed as family of 6 plus dog. You son is so cute and helpful.
Hi lovely, I didn't find it offensive at all. This haul was a week ago, and yes, we had breakfast lunch and dinner. We had a fried or boiled egg, each with avocado toast or plain toast. We had chicken and cabbage with a lovely avocado and tomato salad that was 4 meals. We had 2 fresh fruit of choice daily. I had some fish in the freezer, so we were good. Next time I'll try to film the meals. I think I recorded one video or so it'll be up soon. It's just my son and I. I buy his fruitshoot for packed lunch at Costco and his snacks at tesco. I also did another grocery shop at Aldi yesterday, so I'll try to edit that and have it up by the weekend. 🩷🩷
If you pay attention, you would see that everything I moved was put back in it's place. I'm far from rude and lazy. The video is edited so you won't see every detail. Be blessed!
@@ClairJones-px7jm thank you Clair. I've worked in supermarkets and always put things back when I move them. We have to examine items because sometimes they look good and when you get home it's rotting and that's annoying. ❤

You can get good quality at chesper stores. Buying the offers is fine but generally fruit and veg is much more expensive at M & S.

Nice. But I do think you should consider changing the title to 'treating yourself whilst on a low budge'.
@rosahacketts1668 it is not treating myself if I shop there weekly now is it?

for goodness sake, if you must maul every item at least put them back how you found them, leaving them scattered the way you do is rude and lazy.
