I'd have to agree. I've watched tutorials and tried to sharpen scissors and tried to figure out what I was doing wrong. Was my angle a lil' off. Was I not using the correct grit? I just know I tried and tried and could not get them as sharp as I wanted them to be.
Thanks Bonnie and Gene for sharing your thoughts ! I get a lot of hacked up shears from my area. folks who want to do this, need to know how to do it right! And free hand is NEVER a good idea in my opinion.
