Yes! Thank you I thought I was the only one! I bought it on DVD last week & watched it all with my sons at the weekend and they LOVED it. Well one of them did. "I don't want dry bread!" lol. "Spare oom". I could go on. Its still great. I've not watched it in nearly 30 years. I bought a board game based on that version too recently. Its only worth about £15 but I couldn't not buy it. Thanks for watching.
Good stuff chap, some nice bits. Worth a having a disc resurfacing machine in your locker if needed, if you down the route of jfj easy pro, best to wait until you have a stack to clean. As the pad soaks up the polish. Can become alot more costly doing just 1 or 2 every now and then. I normally do a run of 10 to 15 in one go. Enjoyed the video .👍🎮
I might start picking up the the £15+ games that are scratched and make a little stack of them then go from there. In fact I already have about 6 from bundles I’ve bought, some are quite decent but just slightly more scratched than I’m comfortable selling. Thanks for watching 👍
I would have picked up the brown glass arcoroc mugs for 10p each if they were in good condition. They can get a bit scratched up, but in sets sell for a bit of money. Good haul. Thanks for the mention in your 1 yr anniversary video which I really enjoyed looking back!!
Thanks. Yeah I considered them, have bought before but I struggle to sell them unless its a set of 4 or 6. I don't find them often enough either to sort of store them in the background until I get a set like I do with other things like the coke glasses. Thanks for watching. New video out now, I sing LOL.
Bit of a random/boring question but how do you do all the admin jobs. Especially when you need to work out how much profit you have made but don’t have any receipts if you’ve bought from a boot sale. Just wondering about self assessment etc. Cheers and good vid as always 👍
I use quick books, it helps LOADS. I went a year or so just using excel / google documents. It’s so much easier with something like quick books. Go daddy has one too I think. Claire my partner helps me a lot with that side of things. It’s easy to get behind with it a bit but she gives me a kick where I need it to keep me in order 🙂👍 I write down what I’ve bought from the car boots then scan into quick books. It works everything out for you. Defo get some Advice from an accountant if in doubt on anything. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
@@fyldecoastflips Cheers for the reply I really appreciated it!! I am a young accountant and want to step up my reselling side hustle, I was just curious as to what you do. Good partnership you have going on I like it. Glad you didn't say you're a tax dodger ;) HAHA
Saw chess pieces in the charity shop today. £10 though so I left them. No board with them. Don’t know what characters they were. You reckon they’re worth picking up?
It depends what they are. Try using google lens on a piece and see if it brings anything up. Might be worth it if it’s a well known franchise. Thanks for watching
I loved that BBC Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe version when I was a kid too! 😊🦁❄

Might wanna change the battery in your fire alarm 😁
I’m sat watching and thought oh ffs I only changed it a couple of months ago then I realised it was on the video lol

I hope you were able to clean up the pot a bit but for a quid how can you go wrong , interesting video as always :)
Not tried yet but I will. It’s not going to be perfect but it will certainly be much better at least. Thanks for watching 👍🙂
@@fyldecoastflips What did the woman say to clean it? Something and hot water???

Can't go wrong with Le Crueset. For a quid I'd have had a punt.
Definitely. Yes it’ll take a few minutes to scrub but worth it for potentially £20 - £30. 👍
My local charity shops have been rubbish of late.
Mine haven’t been great either. Prices creeping up and up. Going to keep trying new places because you just never know. Thanks for watching

@@fyldecoastflips thanks, yeah they were in a bag so I don’t even know if all the pieces were there. Next time I’m there again I’ll check them.
25 quid hahaha that’s mad
Yep its still there. And will be until the end of time :-)
the computer games from the boot sale would have been good at the right price
