Diving the P31

This event was organised by the Malta Freedivers Club and some 25 free divers took part. The P31 was a German minesweeper which was sold to the Maltese Government in 1992 and used as a Patrol Boat by the AFM. It was scuttled next to Comino in 2009 and sits at a depth of 18-20 meters. It is now an artificial reef and is very popular for recreational dives both by SCUBA and free-diving.
