- JULIA M USHER’S COOKIE ART COMPETITION UPDATE™! Here’s the recording of my final competition live Q&A on Saturday, September 25 with the wonderful Ginny Levack, founder of Creative Cookier and also one of my competition's esteemed judges! In this live, Ginny and I explore what makes an entry stand out and typical pitfalls to avoid. I also describe my key criteria for selecting judges and how our judging process is structured to ensure that it’s as fair and as educational as possible.

I just.realised i havent gotten any thing from u in my.feeds...and wondered what happened in the competition ect...and went to see what happened...
Yes, the competition results were announced a few weeks ago. I posted all over social media about them and also on my two sites. I hope you found the results; there were some great entries.
@@JuliaMUsher inwould of thought u would of out something on u tube...i quit all those other sites...my face book hacked all the time..twitter a.sewer...and well im pushing 8p and bad health so i only hang out on u tube..
@@sislertx I posted on my personal site Cookie Connection, in a blog post that's still there. I posted there because it's accessible to everyone, not just members of a particular social media platform. Just head over to that site and then look in the blog category called "Julia M. Usher's Cookie Art Competition", and you'll see all competition updates, past and future, there.

Yes, entries need to be submitted and they must follow certain rules. As noted in the video, the links to the rules and other entry info are underneath this video in the video description. So sorry - I've been extraordinarily busy teaching online classes and building a new website. Once the site is done, I should have more time for video production.

I would have thought you would have been at CookieCon? Do you ever go to that?
Yes, I was a Core Presenter at the very first one and also a couple of years ago; I've also taught add-on workshops and vended there several times. But I didn't go this year, as I thought having it in two COVID hotbeds when ICUs in Dallas and Florida were at close to capacity wasn't really in the best interest of the cookie community or those local communities.
@@JuliaMUsher Ahh I can understand that. It seemed to all go pretty well in Dallas. Are you going to be at That takes the Cake Round Rock in February next year? I'm hoping to possibly go to it again if they ever get the website updated with the instructors. lol Hope to see you there! :-)
@@prd1118 Yes, my competition runs every year at That Takes the Cake, so I have to be there to judge and oversee the other judges. I am also teaching there this year. Class announcements are coming soon.
