Yep , as other people have commented once terry hall starts you just can't stop him talking . He's fascinating to watch , he has this distant intensity that's mesmerising.
I disagree with the French commenter below in this thread. He was often like this in group interviews, happy to let them have a say. Maybe in this instance he was also saving his voice for the performance. If he was so not interested why did he go on to write another Specials album ' Encore', recorded a Protest Songs album with them and (according to a bandmate) at the time of his passing had 8 new songs in his head with the recording studio, flights and U.S. accommodation booked, and Neville Staple no longer with the band (he has his own) said they were due to work together this year. He is quoted as saying he thought he would write some of his best songs in his 60s and 70s. He and we have been cheated of what was yet to come but at least we have plenty of group and solo music to remember him by. Rip Terry 💔

Wow, Terry seriously need to control his nervous energy, he's trying to get all the attention & doesn't want to leave!!!
Isn't he a bundle of energy, hard to get a word in with him around.
+Heavy Early amazing isn't it, he does so little and still get all the attention! But after watching him in many different intervews I'd like to think that i can sometimes spot when he's actually in a good mood and just 'putting it on' and then it's actually fun watching him and laughing 'with' him- and it makes the few things he DOES do and say even better!

Watching a band from the side of the stage is shite.
So clear that the interviewers have no idea who The Specials are. Terry Hall looks so bored. I can imagine moments like this is why he broke the band up twice.
