I would like to get a price on the same setup except without the gas tank and the paddle. And I would like a different color. I have a 2016 hobie outback that I purchased from you all brand new back in 2016. And I've visited the store a few times after that purchase to browse around. Thanks Steve🙂🎣
The plastic transom is too flimsy. When I owned my solo skiff, I added 1/4" aluminum plate I thru-bolted and used 5100 to secure plate on both sides of the motor mount. That was a far superior arrangement. I think I will build a boat similar to a solo skiff but designed the way I want it to not be so tippy and more functional deck space.
A 6" hatch is the hatch size that we suggest for the bow of the Solo Skiff. It is recommended to stay with in the flat circle. The bow has a bit of contour that can prevent a hatch from properly sealing if mounted outside of the flat area.
There is not a recess under the hull for a transducer to be mounted. Mounting options for a traducer on a solo skiff are traditional transom mount or over the side.
@@jimbeauxjimenez1850 no it does not. We do not sell motors. That is a separate purchase/modification that you would do yourself. Thank you for the question!
Yamaha should be same as Tohatsu as far as configuration goes 5 = 6 in weight. A lot of folks use the little Yammi motors. I don't think you'll have any issues.
The Solo Skiff has a 3" wider beam (at 41") than the Pro Angler 14. This being said they are actually pretty comparable as far as stability. One does not our perform the other. Thanks for the question!

Can a handrail be mounted?
Just curious will boondocks stand up to moter weight
Some pretty well thought out mods. Looking for a soloskiff to build soon as well.
How much would a rig like this run?

One ideal I have is a strap down for the gas tank.
hi
do you still have the boonedox landing gear for the solo skif and do you make worldwide shipping (for isreal)
Friggin' Awesome !
Do you still sell the Solo Skiff and can make any modifications as the ones showed here? I am interested in this skiff. Please let me know.
How much
I think I'd like to have a grab rail for standing.
Great setup 👍
Where are solo skiffs made?
What size round hatch is the best size to install on it, and is it recomended to stay within the circle on the solo skiff.

How would you rig a fish finder transducer? Is there a recess in the hull?
There is not a recess under the hull for a transducer to be mounted. Mounting options for a traducer on a solo skiff are traditional transom mount or over the side.
Thank you!
What's the price point for these custom solo stiff.?
The solo skiff alone is $1875 (completely stock) and the build out in this video came out to just over $3000

@@anastaciamartin4208 at this time we have not heard of anything from the team over at Solo Skiff about any hull updates.

Do you need a license to operate this?
You would have to contact your local wildlife fisheries for your states guidelines.
Will it take a Yamaha 6hp
The Solo Skiffs are rated for 5hp outboard motors.
It's rated for a 5 hp but, a 6 hp Tohatsu will be the same motor just a different carb, so same weight. A lot of folks run 6 hp on their Solo's.

Or never mind lol just saw the straps
