I avoid late night ANA flights as they don't have a full meal service on these flights.

Exactly! The food was nearly identical to the SFO-NRT flight I took, but wasn't offered until closer to landing. The lounges also closed prior to this flight as well; they close at 11pm. If you don't have an earlier connection/transit, then no lounges! However, you do get to arrive in Tokyo at 4:30am vs. 4:30pm (approximately) so that might be an advantage. However, we can only hope that "The Room" is rolled out on more flights ASAP right?
