i rlly wish that the movie would have a showed a more softer side to jiahan and birdys relationship. the scene with jiahan cutting birdys hair would have been great for showing that they had a playful and flirty side along with all the other intense feelings they had for each other. it could have smoothened out the build up between the larger emotional scenes in the movie as a lot of events seemed kind of sudden. all in all though I genuinely loved this movie because of how emotional and real their story was. the acting, the plot, the music, scenery all made for a great(although sob inducing) movie

bruh they shouldn’t have deleted these scenes it would have added more ‘flavour’ to the movie. ngl it felt like the movie was jumping from problem to problem but these scenes would have really been a build up to the problem. Like when A Han asked his dad for a bike: instead of showing (in the movie) that he only asked once they should have kept that other scene so that we could better understand why his dad was sooo maddd at the dinner table, and why the mom felt the urge to offer buying him the scooter. The movie was really good, but that extra 10 min would have made it even better.
This is based on the directors own personal experience and his life. Whatever he added or didn't add obviously portrayed his life the way HE wanted to portray his personal experiences as. Plus, he probably wanted to keep it as factual pe accurate to his what he went through as possible.

The scene where Birdy stole physics final for A-han could add A LOT of perception to the movie, especially for those who only watch the movie once. since I think, most of time, young A-han is the one whom giving affection to Birdy on the movie, while Birdy is more indirect (or even first watcher might confuse to what do Birdy want) and tends to "lets make trouble but I will invite u altogether". Overall the physics exam is one of my favourite deleted scene on this reel so far 🤣

I would've definitely watched the movie even if it was 3hrs long or more!!! Why didn't they added this scenes man!!! I was left with so many questions after watching the movie and these unseen scenes cleard it all. I was wondering if I slept and skipped some part of the movie when A-Han at his 40 told Birdy that Banban seduced him. The deleted scene explained all.

The first 2 scenes where birdy actually kinda flirted with jiahan would actually made the movie better if they were included, so we get to see they flirt each other more to make the climax more impactful. The aired netflix version, we dont see much of birdy's affection.
the 4th scene where father said live in the moment would make the ending better, since it kinda made a confusion cuz in the aired netflix version its pretty vaguely said.
and the banban jiahan scene would explain the ending better.

@evan peters They didn’t. It was a realistic approach, the thing about happy ending is that it is bullshit. You have to deal with your own problems as you grow together; some had to be separated in order for them to grow independently. Whether you’re straight or not perfect relationship doesnt exist. It’s up for the both of you to write your own ending.

The beach scene where they were laying on the sand was only the sweet moment they shared together. Then to follow that with a statement that they never saw each other for thirty years was like a kick in the gut.
I actually like the last scene. It’s kinda bittersweet but adds a little bit of closure.

These scenes are so good. They would have made the movie even better.
Wow so these scene are what they were referring to when they met when they were older. like when Birdy tells him that he even sent JinJin to seduce him and in the moive when Birdy looks through the bushes and was listening in on the headmaster telling Jia-Han’s mother that he’s failing chemistry and here Birdy brings him the answers to the final. Even though these scenes are nice I feel like by not adding theses scenes it adds more depth to their story because while we suspect why they do certain things or if Birdy actually still has feelings for Jia-Han the whole time. we only find out later just how much Birdy cared for Jia-Han and just how much they held back.
Do u know where the scene where birdy stole the exam paper should be in the movie? Thats the only one im not sure
@@bosoudang I believe it’s around the 16 minute mark after his mother visits and the headmaster tells her he’s failing and Birdy is listening through the bushes but I’m not completely sure

この映画を観ている最中、バイクの話やバンバンがジアハンを誘惑したことなどの話が出た時、そんなことがあったのかと感じたしジアハンがバーディーにあれほどまでに恋焦がれていた理由が分かりませんでしたが、このカットされたシーンを見てようやくすべてが理解出来ました。これらのシーンがあった方がジアハンがバーディーに惹かれたきっかけやバンバンに対して向ける怒りや嫉妬心など多くの人により理解され、愛される作品になったと思います🧐
これらのシーンが無くてもこの作品の儚さ、切なさや取り戻すことのできない青春時代への憧れのようなものを感じとても好きな映画になったことは変わりはないですけどね😌
I felt like they should have kept the scene with Ban Ban and Jiahan. Feels like it adds a lot of context.

The school scene where the father of Birdy found out about the ballon and the scene from the home of Jiahan after the birdy go there really made me cry.... i know how it feels where you want to say what is inside you, but the situation is refraining you from doing it is so painful...

they really should have kept these scenes in!! the movie is really metaphorical without them and let's the audience create their own story, but this would have added so much substance and depth damn
I think the director wanted it that way. This is based on his life and his own personal experience it was very personal to him it wasn't a fictional story. He wanted to keep as factual as possible. As much as I wish these were in the movie I'm also glad they aren't. The metaphorical and wondering aspect of the movie is creative and leaves you with many emotions

I’m so glad they cut all these away. The haircut scene would make the shower scene less tragic. Father’s scene is too repetitive. And the Ban Ban’s scene would denigrate women.
If you think that because ban ban is a cheater all women are, that's on you, ain't got nothing to do with the scene. The haircut scene was cute, why would it have made the shower scene less tragic? "Tragic" is not even a good way to describe the shower scene in the first place, but I agree on Father's scene

Can anyone tell me where I can watch deleted scene like this, especially the good night scene. Becuz at the end, Birdy said gudnite to Jia Han when they reach the hotel and I remember during their teenage timeline, Birdy make a big balloon with captions Gudnite, My Love and Jia Han rush to Birdy said ask him whether he actually know the meaning of gudnite when they both talks. I really want to know what is the context of this gudnite scene becuz I think there is significant reason and meaning when they both say gudnite to each other at the hotel
It was included in the movie, the girl they introduced to han told him the hidden meaning of good night when they went out for a date.
It means "I love you". That is why is so important in that scene
