Thank you for giving is the opportunity to watch them grow. It's a treat to have an up close view of their lives. Your skills and hard work are greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words! I'm really glad you enjoyed spending time up close with this adorable family - they sure are special and keep us smiling!
@@MichelleSiefkenPhotography Hi, this is the second of your videos I saw. It is beautiful. nature is fascinating. I cannot imagine how you can make such close-ups and patiently track the bird family to tell their story. What a treasure! I never heard of these birds before! Thank you.
@@Charity-vm4bt Thank you so much for taking the time to watch my videos and to let me know your thoughts. The days can be long, hot, and tiring when I'm filming, but every moment is worth it when I see and learn so much about each bird. I hope you'll continue watching more from my channel. Take care and thanks again! 😀
I'm trying not to laugh but that's the funniest video yet. Mom and dad stepping on the tiny babies squishing them into the mud, but they pop back up! The chicks are tough little guys. It's amazing the parents can get the snails out of the shells with just their beaks. You get great shots, are you in a boat? 🚤🐥🐥🐥🐥
I had to chuckle too once I knew the chicks were okay, of course! 😁 It's amazing their ability to "bounce" back, but as I've learned they are very flexible as small chicks. Also, the parents each weigh no more than 3 lbs and they were stepping on them in the water so there was some give as they were pushed down. I'm watching lakeside, not in a boat. Fortunately, the wading birds like to stay reasonably close to land, especially when they have little ones. Thanks again for watching - so glad you enjoyed it! Happy weekend! 😁
