Love your videos they've been so useful. Just went out in my garage for a quick chat and late night drink with my old GS. Talking about old rides in days gone by. We've been together for 24 years and the old girl's getting a bit of a makeover. Well a lot of a makeover actually. In talking to her saw that the dust seal at top of forks was split. Many years since I last took the forks out and I found this video and remembered it wasn't that difficult to take the forks out. Or at least you made it look easy!
So on behalf of Big Gee and me, Thank you!!. Another new bit that'll make the old girl feel better.

Hey Man, Taking an opportunity to say Thank You Again....After studying your videos, I just replaced the fork seals in my 2004 1150 GSA... I followed Clymer manual as if my life depended upon it but even during the repair, I consulted your vids again for greasing the speedo unit and torque settings. I am so grateful to you for your willingness to share your knowledge with all....this was my first fork rebuild and I've no leaks, no wobbles, and about $350 bucks still in my pocket. The confidence that I can do this myself is without measure. Thank You So Much!

Great video that helped me a lot. All was going well until I got to the ABS sensor removal, where one of the Torx screws rounded. I think they still had the factory loctite and I was surprised at how tight the sensor itself is sealed into the fork leg. I was lucky I managed to get another sensor cheap but if I was doing this job in future, I would probably leave it in place and disconnect the sensor connector below the tank. I just thought I would mention this as those sensors are £120 new here in the UK so handle with care they can be brittle. Thanks for the upload!
