Here the men without relegiln drink and party or they spend time with the family but our dad is working and the baby is sick
So we rarely go outside and I am cleaning with you in my headphones
Today the mirrors, the fridge and decluttering
I am doing Flylady now half a month and I see an enormous difference in the home

Nothing ever before worked for me so well and quickly 🙏
I really thought about having a company come and clean
But now I have my privacy and save a lot of money 👍👍👍
And this short working week I was home but had so many appointments outside I still got stuff done at home 👍
And the postman Rang the bell this wek often to deliver packages
BUT I was dressed perfectly and felt great to open the door

Did a bootcamp style water session today. Great workout then came home and was able to get two shrubs planted in the front border. A lot of seasonal work at this time, so I am grateful my little house is easy to keep! Tonight was pork medallions with balsamic glaze( I bought the glaze) with fresh greens from the poly tunnel. I this should have been on the Thursday post.
Beautiful day here in Michigan, US. Going to wash outside of windows and that'll be my exercise as I will be up and down the step ladder and getting a good arm workout as well. Wishing all my fellow Americans a blessed Memorial Day. We have been truly blessed by the sacrifice of our "freedom fighters".

Oh, my, I know the feeling of children being away. DD was in Italy for a semester abroad study and then she and a friend backpacked Europe. I didn't see her for 7 months and I missed her so. On a sweet note, and you will love this, my daughter's girls, six and eight, DGD, right? are getting a surprise from me soon. I found small caddies and am stocking them with a squirt bottle of cleaner and microfiber cloths. They are learning to clean along with their Mommy. I can't wait to see their faces when they see their very own caddy with brightly colored clothes. Wonder how long the fun will last?? haha
I'm sure they will love that! My son and daughter loved to play with a toy vacuum cleaner...hours of fun! LOL!
I'd love to see your lovebirds, Diane, I miss having and hearing birds in the house so much! They're such happy creatures!

Thank you for walking through the zone clean- I'm a visual learner and otherwise would have felt like I was not doing a deep enough clean if I hadn't seen how effortless it really should be. (Granted, there is more dust/dirt the longer one waits to do the task.)

I worked along with you--hand-washing the dishes and then made a pie for later. You are so delightful and full of great tips..The coin planting idea I will share with my daughter. It just started raining, ugh. everyday it's rained for three weeks straight!--now I know there's no such thing as bad weather--until I see an ark being built! lol
I do love the sofa story, it is such a great idea. My DS 19 is at university so I really miss him but at least he is allowed to come home! I love hearing about all those different holidays, very cosy! Thank you xxx
I'm watching from the Copenhagen Airport today and I can't wait to get home and get back into my routines! I've really enjoyed the past 2 weeks in Denmark and Sweden and I've gotten more exercise than I can keep track of! 🤣
The two routines I kept up with this past 2 weeks have been my nightly vitamins and watching your videos!

The habit stacking was helpful. Our kitchen, dining and living are just one plain area, so easy! I plan to use this week to prep my garage for painting. If weather allows, I can start on the outside windows by zone,Not many and easily reached.

So... Because you said to get off my bahookie, i started pulling weeds in the garden, when the heavens opened. I went inside, did my weekly home blessing, cleaned out my fridge, did two loads of washing, and sorted my candles out (I've put them in a big dresser drawer, so that i know what I've got and i can access them. Yankee candle fan). I feel very productive and relaxed. And my daily stoic reading said 'carry on with the little things because through them, transformation occurs'; how appropriate is that??? Thanks Diane. Lots of love xxx

I agree. Diane, you are always fun to hear from and you help keep me motivated. I will be running one of Flylady's quick house blessing hours on the lower floor of the townhouse where I spend time. I will do the upper floor in early June before a friend visits. I loved the story about your son.
Starting Zone 5 decluttering today. Zones 3 & 4 are looking pretty good. Morning & evening routines down pat. Weekly home blessings also in place. House is looking amazing! Feeling happy, calm and able to focus on what’s important. Love the timer!!! 5 weeks in.

Diane in Denmark PS we have a cockatiel here and whenever I find a cute feather I leave it on the dining table for all to see, and go “awww”, then I discard it.
We traveled aaaalllll day. I get an almost free pass today. We will do lots of walking tomorrow 😊
You are giving great advice as usual. Especially the PUPA advice and decluttering before you start detail clean I did 1/2 of my monday whb and swish and swipe bathrooms so after getting lunch ready and Spyros washed and dressed it was off to the beach to swim and each lunch. Sheets drying on the line with a load of laundry so detail cleaning will be done another day and we usually get another home blessing done when my cleaner Kallia comes on Thursday. I just love the flylady system. Go us
Sick of the sight of you...nope! You got me off my bahookie....I paused the video, but I didn't, I stopped it, when I pressed play it started again so it gave me the chance to grab my feather duster, glass cleaner and polish and rags....so much for a relaxing 30mins watching you whilst the family are out!! haha...now have a nice clean lounge and I know that once DH has topped up the fire tonight he'll vacuum the lounge...woohoo!
I did have a few giggles along the way...what are we doing today mum?......piles of procrastination....no smoke and mirrors...behind you! Had a wee break there....oh Diane...nothing better than a wee giggle whilst we clean..THANK YOU xx

Yesterday I took a day of rest from extra movement. I still did my regular routines and got plenty of steps, but took it slow.

Hi Diane. I’m new here. I’ve been watching your 31 baby steps videos ready to start next week (it’s 1/2 term here in England). I’m Spanish (although have lived in England for 22 years) and i found it interesting to hear that in Denmark they do a “bridge” with bank holidays as it’s exactly what they do in Spain too. It’s always interesting to hear what other countries do. I’ve also discovered Dressing Your Truth through you. I’m currently reading Carol’s book but I’ve done her online course already and I’m pretty certain I’m a type 4/3. Anyway, I love your videos. Thanks for sharing your experience and knowledge with us.

Love having the longer videos. I was cleaning the bedroom while watching and it made the time pass quickly. What a sweet story about your son and the vacuuming. Today is Memorial Day here so most people have the day off except the stores are all open. Ascension Day is observed here on Thursday as well but only the Catholic schools close. I wanted to ask a question about your windows. I notice you don't have screens. Do you not have bugs flying in when they are open?
Only the very occasional fly...we live in a temperate climate so that's not an issue here 😊

Hi Zoe! I got my jeans at a Clothes Swap party...so they are probably about 5 years old. Brand is Signal (Danish) and model, if I remember rightly, is Pisa.
I’m trying to stop using store bought products, what do you swish and swipe with? Loving your videos!
I use a squirt of the environmentally friendly product I have, but if you Google "homemade non-toxic cleaner", you'll find lots of ideas using what you probably already have in your kitchen (vinegar, baking soda, etc).
When do you do the. Light on the ceiling or move the piano
I usually do a 15 minute clean (as you saw in the video) and do a few things here and there from the detailed list during the week.
