Hey man I broke my femur same thing you are dealing with about 8 months ago. It gets a lot better, stay positive. It only really sucks in the beginning, you will recover quickly once you’re up. Push the PT as hard as you can, do extra credit volume is king. Wish you the best.
I shattered my right femur twice in a year 5 years ago. I now have a stainless steel bar holding it together. I will have that bar in my body to the day i die. But it will put my ass in a wheelchair before then, probably by the time i'm 60 so about 15 years from now. i can feel it. I have a walking stick and crutches that i need to use from time to time. i can mark out on my leg with pinpoint accuracy where it is and my leg hurts. Sometimes all day, sometimes just when i do dumb stuff but i am always aware i have a right leg, if that makes sense. Good luck dude. You are gonna need it. p.s the bike rides i broke it on both times where worth it.
I mean, if it needs 50k+ to become safe and pass inspection, he loses a lot of the reason he bought it. Not quite as simple as spending $500 at the junkyard to fix up your toyota tundra lol
I doubt it's as bad as he's making it out to be. It kind of throws his friend who looked it over under the bus if it is. The engine had to be gone through regardless so that's not really an issue. The crash log mentioned could be a problem but his buddy looked at all of the places where damage should have been
Gotta start somewhere. Turn it into a good purchase. I couldn't afford a nice new yacht, so I bought an old abandoned one. It's amazing how much cash you can fit inside a boat.
I am sure its fine. What could go wrong buying a sight unseen, previously crashed, disassembled, helicopter and shipping it overseas? The upside is we get good content and you can afford to rebuild it and make it a top notch machine. You might not want to track what this all costs. It may be depressing.

I figured theres no chance they preserved the Allison 250 like they should have for storage, let alone, long term storage. The bearings in that badboy are probably rusted up. Residual fuel and moisture sitting in the fuel control, also a do not pass go. I'm excited for ya but I could see the dollars flying! Stuff from South America usually lives a hard life!. I have definitely seen some stuff ferryed in that should never have left the ground!

Don't get discouraged. At Marble Mountain in Da Nang in 1971 we had an OH-6 come in on a flat bed truck that rolled through a rice paddy at 100 knots and the only way I could recognize it was by the egg shape of what was left. We did the turn on that one in less than 90 days using parts salvaged from other birds.
The only annoying thing about the trailers is that you are teasing us and we have to wait till Friday 😂. Content has been great, just keep doing what you can!!!

I found Cletus from watching boosted boiz, and didn't really pay any attention until I started watching all the videos about restoring the track. Those videos really pulled me in. I started to like the racing videos but I'm honestly more excited about this restoration and the new house build than racing. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I'm actually hoping that the developers offer Garrett enough money for TFF so I can watch a whole series on building a new track.
I wonder if Cleet is making these trailers and 1+ hour content to show case “episodes” towards a legit TV show on a streaming platform? I remember on a podcast he said something like “yeah we were in talks with [Netflix], but they asked for tv show style videos and we didn’t really have any.” Now he has trailers and 1+ hour vids in a “tv show” style format. I totalllyyyy could be wrong, but if he landed a deal; it could be a multi million dollar deal that could fund quite a bit of stuff. Including funds towards starting to build a new track. But again, could totallllyyyy be wrong. Maybe the longer videos, paired with a trailer perform better. Could just be that simple.
Honestly its kinda nice to see what coming up. Some videos maybe better as surprises with no trailer, but for the most part we are all waiting for tthe next video so a teaser gives us a clue lol.
Looking forward to this video. Going to be a lot of things wrong, but it was to be expected. Still cheaper than buying a new or newish one and after going through to this level, you know exactly what shape it is in.

The freedom factory probably seemed like a bad idea or a huge financial mistake to alot of people originally but you got it for a good deal and built it into something amazing that can pay bills, provide entertainment and increase tourism to the area. Unless it ends up being close to or the same price as buying a fully function version its a win. Especially since youre getting to customize it in the process. The only thing that mightve been a bad financial decision was the ripsaw and it was atleast entertaining.
The trailer idea is very nice, i expected a silghtly different timing and construction but it does the job of preparing a cliffhanger right. Usually trailers go information/pause/information/pause and so on. This one is more "one large chunk of information", there are slight pauses but I do believe they are too short. It is high quality in any case. You could add something for your european followers and add GMT time as an added bonus ... I have absolutely no idea what time I will be able to watch the vid, "3PM" is different when you live halfway across the world :D
