  • We were looking for something cool to convert that is also functional, allowing us to test it in its intended environment and haul everything we need when we take it to events. Enter the Pinzgauer.
One of the great things about EV conversions is the possibilities. But with these possibilities come challenges, and this series will show you how we overcome these challenges and convert this Pinzgauer to an EV, including component selection, fabrication, and more. We hope that this build inspires others to explore EV conversions!
This is part 2 of a multipart series. Please subscribe and click the bell to be alerted when new episodes are released, and to see videos of other upcoming in-house projects we are converting!

Looking forward to the rest of the build. Been out of the car tuning game for a while and went EV. Awesome to see AEM entering the EV space.

What a well written and presented video. Such a rarity to learn quickly and clearly from the usual hype and BS EV RUclipss.

Is there a plan to create an Ev kit for the pinzgauer that would be available to purchase. I have a 712M (6 wheel version) I would like to convert. Please let us know

I would love to convert my 1971 unimog 404 . I only need 100 horsepower . I talked to the local ev guy and he told me to save up $15k for parts

Exactly. But why limit to 100... imagine how great it would be on the freeway with more. Are you going to try to Doka it?

Used Tesla batteries are still for the rich converters as they are expensive. Perhaps in time..
