I just got Merina 3h ago. I was so stress after watching all the iud videos 😂 My blood pressure at the doctor office was 164/109 😮. They wanted to reschedule my appt because doctor told me I can be in a lot of pain and bad cramps because my blood pressure was so high but they let me decide if I want to do it. I was so ready for the pain that I told them to do their job. When doctor told me “we are done with the procedure” I couldn’t believe it. I had zero pain just a little bit of discomfort. Looks like we are all different. 😊

I had been on normal birth control pills for 10+ years until 2 years ago when a doctor finally made the connection that I have migraines with aura and really shouldn't be on the pill, so I chose Nexplanon. It has been a nightmare for 2 years. I have had all the same side effects that you explained in your other video about why you were switching. I am getting the Nexplanon out and Mirena put in in 2 weeks. I chose Nexplanon first because I was afraid of getting the Mirena put in or having complications from it. I feel better after watching this video. If I can endure 2 years of Nexplanon side effects, I can deal with the Mirena procedure.

Same, nexplanon has been an absolute nightmare for me, constant bleeding, mood swings, fatigue, and so many other symptoms to where I'm done trying to regulate it through birth control or hormone therapy with estrogen. I think I'm ready to get the morena IUD although I'm very afraid of the pain since I have a very low threshold for pain. How has the mirena been for you so far?
