Absolutely beautiful the sound is so sweet and comforting. I wish I could have got to the stage of being able to ring like this in such an ordered and dedicated way. It really does give you peace and happiness in your heart such a pleasure to listen to 🙂
Thanks Simon That is beautiful, also its what i call the Goldilocks ring, just right, not to light and not to heavy. Keep the vids coming Simon being in Aus I miss these peals
They kinda sound like what it sounds like in the Ringing Room in Skipton....I've noticed when in the ringing room in Skipton, they can sound like Tadcaster....for some strange reason....
Having visited Skipton fairly recently (also Stedman Triples with Master Pladdys), they are very similar - but then, two Taylor vintage rings of similar weight. I think Skipton may have the edge - just! - but both are absolute class :-)
Great upload Simon! Your best by far on You Tube! Gorgeous sounding bells and top class striking! Well done! Think I need to add Tadcaster to my "bucket-list" of towers to ring at! Who was the band ringing in this piece?
Bellr1nger Glad you enjoyed it, a superb 8 and one I would love to revisit! Clear as crystal inside and well worth a visit, I look forward to seeing your band's efforts when you ring! I have also updated description to include the band also :-)
I've rung over 60 peals and 6 quarter peals (so far) with the other Simon Edwards! If you watch my Olveston video (ruclips.net/video/somu3OCNQP4/видео.html) you can see us ringing next to each other - I am Simon W, he is Simon L. :-)
Superb ringing on beautiful bells.

These are absolutely incredible! So warm and mellow!
Those bells sound like honey on marshmallows, so smooth and sweet!
TheMickhowes Nice analysis! They are fantastic bells, I really enjoyed them!

+Trouty1 They are superb, easily one of the most underrated eights out there! Well worth a visit :-)
Superb - the standard that Master Pladdys seeks to aspire .An absolute joy to listen to. Wish I could do it!
Thanks Simon

These are arguably the best ring of 8 in West Yorkshire along with Howden Minster and Skipton
They are super. I think I preferred Skipton - just! Not yet had the pleasure of Howden though. Another trip oop North may be in order!

This is a fine recording. I'd be interested to know what was used and where it was recorded from.
Two Simon Edwards in a Quarter Peal, Wow i don’t know which one is which 😂.
