Thanks for a perfectly simple introduction to mono-printing! This would work well for anyone and I'm keen to use it with children. Drawing skills aren't mandatory and the results look spectacular. Cheers!
It's mono printing ink. It would also work with water based paint. I have never used printer ink but would be interested to see the results. Let me know how you get on.
Hi yes I use printing block printing ink. I used cheap ink in this video. Something like this: artdiscount.co.uk/products/brian-clegg-300ml-block-lino-printing-inks?variant=43722616393¤cy=GBP&gclid=Cj0KCQiAqo3-BRDoARIsAE5vnaIZSMt3Z1W5p_rJlgQouE7i8llSWKadN2nbm7dkQK2Fn2oLt05DAj8aApBrEALw_wcB But you can use better quality inks if you like.

What is he rolling the ink on? is it paper? plastic, glass?
Laminated paper. But plastic or glass will work fine. Good luck.
Can you use acrylic paint instead of the ink?
You could, if you have some already. It won't be as good but should work. Give it a go and let us know how it goes. Good luck.
@@MrDolanArt Hi, tried and it didn't work but then again- I didn't do art for GCSE and things but found another way of what I wanted to do. Thanks :)
