I used some cheap block printing ink and a 2b sharp pencil but any pencil will work. I printed onto cartridge paper but normal paper would work too.

It's mono printing ink. It would also work with water based paint. I have never used printer ink but would be interested to see the results. Let me know how you get on.

Hi yes I use printing block printing ink. I used cheap ink in this video. Something like this:

But you can use better quality inks if you like.

What is he rolling the ink on? is it paper? plastic, glass?

Laminated paper. But plastic or glass will work fine. Good luck.
