- The Love Parade was the 2nd single off of our debut self-titled album in the U.S. This version of the song is a radio remix that is a bit different than the album version. Gotta love Gilbert's motor scooter in this one.

Are you kidding? How can music like this ever be forgotten? I was 17 in 1986 and I was LITERALLY obsessed with the DA. Now I'm 42 and is it wrong to have those years of the 80's come flooding back? Man I miss those innocent times! Thank You DA!

Agree. Gorgeous song. I don't believe The Dream Academy is a full time band anymore. Maybe only for occasional performances. But Nick Laird-Clowes continues to make music. I heard he got into scoring films.

When I worked on radio back in 86, we go this track in I put it on was literally blown away with the fidelity and production of this track. I think it was a summer release. Sound great even with all the massive reverb stations carried at that time

This song makes me remember the summer of '86, in the moments of the FIFA World Cup Mexico. I was 15 years old. I love this US single version. It's very difficult to get it. I have it on a tape. What a cool and sophisticated melody. David Gilmour was the producer of this debut album. Cheers from Medellin, Colombia.
