I swear ekko literally always steals the show with episode 7 of season one being my personal favorite of season 1, and now episode 7 of season 2 being my personal favorite of this season so far. And to think this time there wasn't even a rap video.
5:20 it's weird how many reactors think don't pick up on Heimerdinger saying 1128 *days* not years at this part and think he's been there since the Rune Wars and not only 3 or so years. Long enough for him to use his position on the council to start cleaning up the undercity.
This episode finds itself as my actual favorite from Season 2, it is such a well paced story with clear messages and heartstring pulls, just perfect. Love Seasno 2 as a whole, but god this episode went above and beyond.
This episode just goes to show how strong a character Ekko is. He sees a good reality, his Heaven, and has the strength to leave it behind for those that need him where he comes from. Just... Ekko man.
There is simply no way in hell that’d I’d give up a life like that in a world like that. Those two were good enough but add a wholesome romance with Powder as well and I’d say yes in a heartbeat. Ekko is quite simply stronger than I could ever hope to be.
I love the way your mind works, how you break down each scene but in the moment not after, you seem like a logical thinker like myself but that empathy shines through without effort. Big fan glad you reacted to my favorite show of all time haha
ah here we go again, it's as if being on a time loop of watching 2x7 arcane reactions and getting heartbroken every single time. "...looking at my historical record, i would 100% stay here for powder" made me laugh though 😂
If you ever have the curiosity, please look up the translation of the lyrics in Powder's and Ekko's dance. Somehow it makes it even more heartbreaking 😢
@@AGoodwinTV Yeahhhh that was unusual/unfortunate scene placement. "My sister seems to be in a depressive episode and may not be safe from herself, lets fuck"
Speaking of time shenanigans, Alex could you please react to the german netflix show, Dark? I would love to hear your take on it! Would also be cool to have a live-action show on the channel.
Lorewise, Heimerdinger can't die. His race respawns in Bandle City when they die. I think it's a sort of ethereal realm? Because Yordles are magical beings
So what happens if he dies a bunch of times due to time rewinding? In the normal physical world, as far as anyone is concerned he only died once, but how would that work with an ethereal realm?
Fun fact; The Ekko and Powder dance scene was set at 4 frames per second because ekko's time machine has a 4 second rewind limit
And this shows how much he wanted to stay in that moment.
this is not true but sure
@erfshadow380 oh, really? I heard alot of people saying that and I looked it up myself to be sure
@@erfshadow380it is true though? What part do you struggle with?
@@nicokuhne3255it’s just headcanon wasn’t confirmed anywhere and that’s not 4fps
The best summary of this episode is simply: Ekko had to leave heaven and Jayce had to escape hell.

@@angel3pointoo173 he's the man! Despite having relatively low screen time to other characters he's probably my favorite
There was a country Heimerdinger.
@@AGoodwinTVI think there’s a reason he doesn’t get much screen time. I think he’d solve a lot of the conflicts 😂

Nobody really knew how much we needed Ekko x Powder until we got it, then had it immediately ripped away.... What could've been! 😭

@@kallifornia_8 At least Heimerdinger has a good time. He doesn't need to know that he died once
@AGoodwinTV exactly😌 and he learned to play his ... guitar/banjo thingy...
I believe the man in the robe is Heimerdinger on stilts.
Jayce escaped hell. Ekko escaped paradise.
Should rename this episode “Arcane: Better than a harem, somehow”
What watermelon are we on at this point? Do they get rotated out like mascots?
