I compared them without EVER HEARING anyone else ever comparing then 2 till now. Now yes common sense obviously tells me people have. Respect to both Tupac and DMX, they were both unique in their own way, X most differently in comparison to Pac. And mostly respect to DMX for not accepting this comparison and respecting Pac as well, despite their feud back in 96. X dissed Tupac around 1996 in a track called “i shot ya” when the east coast west coast beef was going, cause X didn’t feel Pac when they met around in 1995, he had respect for him, but he didn’t like how he moved around when he was on Death Row records. He later took Pac’s name when he passed away and used the bars again in the track “Get at me dog” aiming at K-Solo.

I compared them without EVER HEARING anyone else ever comparing then 2 till now. Now yes common sense obviously tells me people have. This is the reason why I compare both of them to be so different as far as style and delivery that makes both of them a 1 of a kind that no one can resemble or naturally act like, but VERY MUCH THE SAME AS FAR AS KEEPING IT REAL.
My personal opinion: I have always said the DMX is the East Coast 2 Pac, why,
1. They both have the Power to move people. You can be the absolute best lyricist ever right, but there ARE VERY FEW that are on that Deep Knowledge like PAC & X. I mean what a great duo those 2 could've been! I remember right before DMX died, Snoop invited DMX to his pad where Snoop had a studio where they would each rap to each one of the songs. Also SHOUT OUT TO SNOOP always showing love even when you could tell DMX wasn't at his best. I remember when it was now DMX's turn, as they would go back and forth with each other's songs, and Snoop got up and said turn that shit up " This is my Jam " but I forget which DMX song it was. DMX has said before when a reporter or someone in a studio interview like the Breakfast Club or something like that and had asked him if he had heard someone else's Rap Song, and DMX replied " I Don't Know About Anyone Else's Shit, I Don't Listen To Or maybe said, I don't really listen to anyone else, I JUST KNOW IT AINT MY SHIT ", like man that shit is real. I don't think anyone could've said it better. Anyways when Snoop And X were chilling and rapping to their own songs and each other's songs, Snoop said to DMX " You Know PAC Had Alot Of Love For You " and I thought that was cool.
DMX only respected a VERY FEW rappers songs , like VERY FEW. Juvenile said that DMX told him he was one of the very few rappers that are real that he fucks with, and then DMX went to the stage at a concert with thousands of people there, like many thousands people. So I guess Juvenile was supposed to go on after him. Juvi said " How in the fuck am I going to go on and entertain all those stadium full of people, when the whole entire masses of people are just chanting DMX's Name, Had the fans crying after speaking a prayer, and then had them pumped up off his music " and Juvi said " Now How Am I Going To Go After A Legend Like DMX That Could Move A Crowd Like That, Especially Here In New York " ? I DON'T THINK WHAT I SAID WAS WORD FOR WORD, I PROBABLY BUTCHERED THE WORDS OF BOTH OF THEM AND WHAT THEY BOTH SAID TO EACH OTHER, BUT ITS STILL ON RUclips I'M PRETTY SURE.
TO ME I THINK THE ONLY PEOPLE HE RESPECTED WAS I'd Imagine Biggie, Snoop, 2Pac, Juvenile, and I'm sure there's others. Yes I'm sure he respects the rest of the Ruff Ryder Crew he had. I'm just mentioning big names. I think he respects 50Cent because he said " Me and 50 are alright " after the reporter/interviewer had asked that question. Now I'm not sure if the same interviewer asked him this question but, this just shows DMX's character and he can spot a grimy person or someone trying to stir up ship between rap artist, but they asked him if he listens to Eminem's music or likes EM, but the interviewer said something to try to get DMX to say shit about EMINEM, and immediately DMX was like hey man look don't be asking me questions basically trying to start shit by having DMX say something slick about Eminem.
That right there SHOWS YOU FOR CERTAIN how humble, yet real DMX was and could basically peep game and could feel the energy of a person like this interviewer trying to start something that immediately got shut down. DMX knows first hand about these Grimy interviewers/media, and other forms of negative shit the media tries to start.
Now I'm going to give a few statements on why I say DMX is the East Coast 2Pac;
1. They both grew up Poor
2. They both are a believer of God in the satanic music industry, which is why it was a no brainer why they died or always having media after them.
3. They both went to prison and both claimed innocents, because they know it's the satanic music industry will crush you if you don't follow through. Just like Old Dirty Bastards said in a car being on camera and said the industry was trying to kill him.
