This is actually insane - the atmosphere, the density of the environments and the lighting are truly crazy. Feels like playing a game with the graphics of the original Avatar movie.
@Transistor Jump Look at the density and the materials used. Arguably, some aspects do look up to par if not better than the movie itself. Obviously things like facial anumations and movements might not be fully there, but graphically it's scarily close.

I doubt it. Doesn’t look like the game was built around third person animations or camera space. The scale of things would probably feel off because this is already much smaller than the movies and they want to pretend the scale of things are much larger than they are.
Pandora awaits in all its splendour! This looks too good! Just getting to explore such a beautifully created world will be an absolute delight. The flexibility in combat and being able to fight as a Na’vi in multiple ways, is just all I can dream of.
The funny thing is there was already in avatar game that came out all the way back on the Xbox 360 so probably about over 10 years ago and it looks better than this game does not in terms of graphics in terms of gameplay for instance, in that game, you could be human or native and also you could choose to help the humans or the natives so you could completely choose not only your species capabilities in someone but also what faction you would fight with, and it was third person. This game is forced first person only forced native and forced sighting with the natives. A lot less choice a lot less RPG elements and that’s aside from the fact that it looks like it’s just gonna be far cry basically with a Pandora skin. I hope it turns out to be better than it looks or maybe we’re not getting the full story, but I think this is going to be yet another case of a 10-year-old game being better than the modern equivalent

As beautiful as this game looks: please, PLEASE, give us options for how obstructive/intrusive we want our HUD elements to be. Pandora is a fantastic place, and it would really be a shame if this is ruined by the rather ugly and numerous HUD elements attached to everything as I know them to be in something like the AC games with their change to open world. Please give us the chance to choose, and to even choose as little on the screen as possible, if that is what we desire.
Thank you.
You do know you can change HUD settings in ac games right?
I get you. I admire Ghost of Tsushima for how they managed to keep the whole screen HUD-free
I think it's a safe bet. Ubisoft games are usually very customizable with their HUDS.
I like the way Crysis games deal with this.
