      You can do it , I did it from not even able to hold breath for 10 sec on my first day to going 25 meters in 3 week and holding breath while still in the water for 1:30-2 mins.

    So that’s how you stay down… as soon as I go down it immediately brings me back up. Gonna try this angling down at all times technique

      The thing is y'all are inhaling too much before going down, you should go down with little air in your lungs, not filled to the top. I personally dive after exhaling.

    We always have to do this for passig the lifeguard certification. When you often do this and you have some experience then it is easy. It is especially a thing of your mind. Diving like that is a psychological game you have to win.

    I dont know if i invented a new technique but I can swim across the swimming pool underwater twice as fast as that. Push off arms forward then move back and paddle arms and legs facing back

      No. Take a big breath. If you technique is good enough you'll stay underwater. Sure with weights it will be easier, but you don't have to

    Always look at the bottom of the pool , and when you know your near the other end, surface.

    I practiced myself from going even 6 meters(low lung capacity at that time) to 25 mts same this way but I also use my legs little bit while gliding.

      practise without wetsuit and without weights and learn to feel the water

    Do we need to inhale breath or exhale while going down?

      inhale then go down. it might be more difficult to stay down wirh full lungs, but as a beginner you need fill lungs. partially empty lungs is for advanced divers only

    I find arms infront and kicking takes a lot of effort and little gain compared to just arm , I want to do 50m but I burn up just after 25 and I find it harder if I fill my lungs up a lot

      @@tomroose7733 Bad advice, never hyperventilate before diving, you would not be able to tell when you need to catch a breath

      if something hurts it's because of tension and tension is stress. you need to learn to relax

    Anyone making that 25M WITHOUT kicking off of the wall?
    Why no wall when ALL of the people at my pool do it?
    Show me the wall in a lake, river or any other body of water...don't worry, I'll wait...
    It's not about impressing people and putting up numbers, it's about truly being competent while in water.

    My wt is 95 kgs. When I'm trying to go underwater i just bounce back above water. Unable to stay under water at least few secs. Only once pushing frm wall i glide a certain area n then bounce above water pls help

      buoyancy depends heavily on body composition. Loose fat and you'll be less buoyant.

    Umm bro ur not totally underwater. Ur chest. Should be just. Above the ground and if we do it in the way u told it can work. Too

      nor sure what you're trying to say here. you can swim at whatever height you prefer. the deeper, the more negatively buoyant so if you're not wearing weights, swimming deeper might help
