    Really like the wreath. Fall colors are my favorite. & love the pancake idea. Only question I have is I have a carved wood front door & have to put something on the back of my wreaths to keep the wire from damaging the door. Have you ever had to do this, & if so what did you use on the back of the wreath wire so it didn't touch the wood door?

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  5 лет назад

      Hello Jane! That’s a great question. I buy either a round placement and zip tie it to the back of the wreath or you can also buy a sheet of felt and cut it into a circle. I’m so happy you liked the wreath and thank you for watching, Lori.

    Can’t wait until you start doing the sublimation sign training! Buying my daughter everything she needs to do them for me. She helps me run my business and is the computer guru for me, lol. I agree with the shipping debacle! I started my online shop after following your videos for a few months, you are awesome! I was doing a great business and selling a few per day in my Etsy shop and building a great customer base. Then the shipping skyrocketed after I was in business only a few months and my Etsy sales came to a complete stop! So now I’m depending on craft shows to just try and recoup the thousands I have already spent in supplies 😢 I have now started making wreath attachments and hope they will sell better since the shipping will be less. I have started also making Gnomes since they are so popular and I do regular Gnomes for the home and also lightweight ones for wreaths. I saw your Gnome signs you made and wanted to send you one of my Gnomes to add to your wreath when you make one using your Gnome signs but didn’t know if that would be too forward of me. I’d love to give you one so if you are interested just let me know and send me a shipping address and I will be happy to send you one. Oh and my Etsy shop is DoodlebugByLisa and Facebook is @DoodlebugDesigns13

    You calling the mesh premium what do you mean?

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  3 года назад

      Hi Pat! You can find premium mesh at Craft Outlet, Trendy Tree, The Wreath Shop, and my website. I don’t recommend Hobby Lobby and Dollar Tree for mesh because it’s basic and frays a lot. Thank you, Lori.

      @@craftingwithhwm ok Thank you and it's called premium mesh?

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  3 года назад

      No the premium mesh that I use is called Metallic mesh, Snowball Mesh, Poly Jute mesh. But all the mesh at the websites I recommended are premium mesh so you can’t go wrong. Just stay away from Poly Burlap mesh because it frays a lot. I hope that helps. Lori

    Hi Miss Lori! I ❤️❤️ this method and I’m definitely going to try it with a Christmas wreath. Would you have the measurements for this method by chance? I have an 8X8” sign I would like to use and it’s too small for 26” wreath. Thank you for your time!

    • @craftingwithhwm
      @craftingwithhwm  5 лет назад +1

      Hello Jenina! I really love this method too and excited for you to try it. The measurements as far as width are close to 26 inches but I have done wreaths that big with smaller signs and if you add a bow and offset the sign to the side then it will work. You can also just use maybe a 12 inch frame and then it will be smaller. Thank you, Lori.

      Hello Kountry! When you do one layer at a time, each layer makes the one before it lay flatter. If you spent all your time flattening all the mesh first then you would be doing it all over again by lifting it to put the ribbon on. I hope that makes sense. Thank you, Lori.
