    I find the crystal bowls to be more jarring. The bronze is smooth sounding and is instantly relaxing, brings out emotions, including tears, for me.

    Thank you, Emile. I always wondered what the difference was between the two. Just guessing here, but it seems like crystal bowls might be useful for sound therapy, when you need a pure note for a particular use. Tibetan bowls seem to elevate the soul and the mind. It's various layers of sound affect in multiple ways. Beautiful ways.

      i have read that thats what it is used for. crystal for a honed focus and tibetan for genearl, that is. I wish there were videos of maybe makers of the tibetan bowls' opinion of the crystal ones.

I'm resonating with the somewhat mystical energy of the Tibetan...so thank you sooo much for the detailed explanation of the beautiful qualities of both type of bowls!! Blessings!!!

      I often incorporate singing bowls during counseling sessions (individual and group) at my hospice agency. My clients and I both receive benefit from the bowls. I tend to explain very little, I just do... and let the experience carry and explain itself later. Just having a bowl placed in the room draws curiosity and attention.

    Just found your channel, enjoyed the comparison. I got the crystal singing bowls 2 years ago, doing sound meditations locally as I think the vibration of the bowls is just amazing. I enjoy putting half of my class to sleep because they get so relaxed. Though one question, as I am always looking to expand, do you see any disadvantages to playing the Tibetan and crystal bowls together? I wasn't high on the Tibetan bowls in the beginning, but spirit is guiding me to give them another look. I already use a 22 inch sub-atomic gong and a set of wind chimes with my mediation.

    The main thing that stops people is that these bowls are VERY expensive. That big bowl is hundreds of dollars...and they're expensive WITHOUT platinum, lol. A full set can cost as much as a drum set! I've seen them go 3,000!

    Is the sound from an Alchemy Bowl (made of real crystal) any different in clearing your chakras than using a regular Tibetan or Crystal singing bowl? Thanks. Alchemy bowls are so expensive.

    • @templesounds
      @templesounds  3 года назад +2

      As far a glass (crystal bowls) are concerned..
      There are differences in the sound.. bowl to bowl.. in same exact size and type..some are just better players then others..
      To be clear..these are just melted sand..and its a stretch to call them crystal..as in..its mostly a selling point..
      Most are made in China nowadays and shipped in for customization..and if there is a moldavite or similar mineral coating..it is just attached on the exterior of a regular bowl..and not actually incorporated into the matrix internally..
      So if you want to spend the big bux..you know what to do..
      ..but I doubt it will make much difference in the sound or vibration rate..
      Cheers,
      TS
