I suggest to compare again when you have access to a full bottle. First I don't see any strong resemblance to the Boisee, and strangely you did not even mention how similar smooth vibes it has with respect to DHI / DHP, more so than the EDP. If that Lagerfeld fragrance you featured does not have DHI vibes, then your GG Reserve Privee sample most likely went bad.
Also, I disagree with Sebastian (and you) about longevity. I tested it from a store both on paper and on my skin, and spraying the Reserve Privee and the EDP on different arms at the same time to compare. It lasts pretty much the same as the EDP both on paper, and also on my skin.
you are right, a full bottle sprayer will have much better impact, just shared what I felt, i didnt call it a complete pass, if i see a full bottle ill try it again brother

Here we are not the same way. Givenchy Privee is the best Givenchy I smell yet. Gentlemen smells to rough to me and Boisee is very woody... Privee in my opinion is not very close to the other too, but way better

Just came here what you have to say about Reserve Privee and you were bang on. Although in itself it's a great smelling scent but I found it to be a weaker version of Stronger with you absolutely. SWY Absolutely has a better longivity. The very first spray of reserve privee instantly reminded me of SWY Absolutely.
I bought the small bottle because I collect the whole line and i fully agree with you. Very sililar to the EDP and performance wise quite weak. The bottle looks great though. 😊 Thanks for the honest review!
Very interesting take on this, which shows how different our noses are. This one is a great dum reach for the cooler days. The iris in this one makes it closer to the DH lines and Valentino Uomo Intense than other in the Givenchy Gentleman line. It's not a fresh iris like DH original, DH Eau or Prada L'Honme, but the iris in here still dominate with the woodsy note and and chestnut, benzoin or amber make it easier to wear, more pass appealing and more modern than DHI and VUI.
This review is on point.. glad i only bought the decant.. i tried this bcoz of the hype of many 'respected' reviewer

The only negative review seen for this frag yet. Other reviewers are hyping it and say this is the best in the line. A must buy for DHI lovers it seems. Among the new releases ADG Edp is said to be redundant and lackluster.

I smelled it last week and was curious to know it's in the hype train. Boisee is my favorite in the line but it's fairly weak.
Real talk. For fans of the DHI type frag, this is beautiful, incredible and another take on it but has bad performance. Like the recent EDPs. Has so much potential if they would fix the performance. Doesn't project and doesn't last more than an hour or so. Gets very faint.

These youtubers work on the basis of money.. It is possible that givenchy didn't send them free bottles or money that's why most of the youtubers not in a favor of this fragrance.

Thank you, Joy! Givenchy is definitely underrated and Xeryus Rouge is my #3 favorite, but I agree Reserve Privee is banking on the success of similar scents out there right now. I love your honest reviews!
