Let me know your thoughts!
hopefully they do something similar to what youre saying instead of just resetting everything and now mutants are in the mcu. we need a good reason to even make us forget that they werent
I think it's time for Apocalypse
The MCU is not the 616 Universe.
@@idancewithsaibot yes we dont want lazy writing
That was an interesting theory on mutants.
I think its quite the opposite. He's delaying the mutants because he needs them on his side in secret wars.
It's a nice theory but why be scared of mutants, but just allow the development of a reality warping witch who could have (and still could) destroy any plan he has.
Maybe cause Kang power can only go so far. When faced up with cathon I think Kang gets spanked no cap but I could be wrong
Much easier to deal with one reality warper with mental issues (and you know what she wants) versus multiple Omega Level Mutants. I think it's a solid theory but I don't think we'll see it laid out like that on screen. Oh and there could be no precogs on Krakoa because they would learn of Moira and they could reshape what she wanted to do. Which turned out to be a good thing since Moira wanted to sterilize all mutants
And a multitude of omega level mutants compared to just one is a huge difference in power. Plus Kang probably has information in regards to Franklin Richard’s and how OP he truly is and in order to stop him from manifesting/being born no mutants had to be established but just an idea
Besides, didn’t he say something about the threshold being crossed when Wanda was simultaneously doing the hex in WandaVision
He probably can’t erase nexus beings like the scarlet witch from the timeline
I always thought it was weird how Cable has never fought Kang even though they're from almost the same time period, just in different alternate futures. But with Cable's full power he'd be way too powerful for Kang. Without his techno organic virus holding him back Cable is the most powerful telepath & telekinetic on Earth. Not sure if the MCU will ever cover this; but in the comics Kang did attempt to recruit a young Apocalypse when he time traveled to ancient Egypt.
That would also explain why MCU doesn't have the big strong characters and the ones we do have been nerfed
That’s interesting
I like this theory and i think it has legs for sure. You could go even further and say, the only reason he lets the avengers stay is because theyre easier for him to control... OR there will always be a group of people who come together to avenge the world, so he realize he cant stop them. He may even use the avengers to fight other kang variants.
Working with this theory, I'd say he didn't interfere with non-mutants because eventually superheroes would be needed, for situations like with Thanos. It's even mentioned in Loki that they knew what the Avengers would do to alter time to defeat him, and allowed it because it was "foreseen" (in reality because he needed them to do it in the sacred timeline or it wouldn't be fixed).
This may explain away no Inhumans as well, and finally give reason to having to wait until after Secret Wars, and merging of multiverse to bring mutants and Inhumans to the MCU 616.
Plus he killed other avengers before. But he might not have experience with mutants
all these kang videos from marvel youtubers are making me obsessed with kang!!! i love everything about the character and especially the future for jonathan majors
You hit this video out of the park. Well done!
Kang better fear the mutants, heck even the whole the multiverse coming to you.
Bro, Josh...how many variants of Kang went back as Rama Tut to attempt to weaponize Apocalypse? Although this failed in the comics, how many Kang variants would have succeeded and had Apocalypse as a weapon in the multiversal war? I would KILL to see this referenced in the MCU, I mean a freaking En Sabah Nur D+ series that would have Jonathan Majors as Rama Tut trying to recruit En Sabah Nur in ancient Egypt 🤯
absotooty amazing thought!! well done and it makes sense!!!! great explanation!!
Clyde Wyncham, his form of Marquis of Death, and Mad Jim Jaspers are also reality-warping mutants who can destroy entire universes. I'd like to one day see a one-off Marvel 1985 movie.
Nathaniel richards is Kang brotha, not Cable. Cable is Nathan Summers/Winters/ many other names he has went by.
the theory of kang being scared of mutants because mutants could result in super-OP mutants (the omega level ones) imo would be more plausible if the narrative emphasised less on the "power", but more on the uncertainty and unpredictability of mutation.
Otherwise you could counter-argue that there's plenty of other near omnipotent entities like the celestials or scarlet witch or the gods, why would kang not fear them? Because they still represent things he knows and can see coming a mile away.
Mutation might be so random and spontaneous across each timeline to the point that you could wake up one day and find a new timeline branch has occurred with dozens of omega-levels some of which you've never even encountered in prior timelines. For someone like Kang who works best when he knows what's coming and how to prepare for it, this is would be his worst enemy. The narrative can even tie this into quantum stuff, referencing real life concepts like the Uncertainty Principle. Kang might even have some Villain Monologue thing going where he compares the X-Gene to a cancer that if allowed to spread, will eventually bring about only disaster due to the unchecked proliferation of superpowers.
The amount of times I’ve commented this theory is insane ! Finally den of nerds is covering it
NERDVENGERS ASSEMBLE!
🤘🏿West Coast NERDVENGERS, throw them high!🤘🏿
Legion and Proteus are something else
Wow. This makes so much sense!
Cool vid dude 👍🏻🤙🏻
This is such a good theory, kudos man
Awesome video yo
Dude, now that answers so many questions. That would be great. If they are not doing this I hope they see your video and steal the ideal. Genius!!!!!!!!
Great theory!
This is an interesting theory. I like it! 🙏🏽💪👏
Holy moly you cracked the code ! Genius
wow super interesting and compelling arc i honestly believe this is how it will go down. Would be cool to see Rama-Tut and En Sabah Nur cross paths in ancient egypt also
It’s a great explainer I like it!
Hello Lucas here Thanks for watching and leaving a comment reach out the highlighted name above to acknowledge a priz now🎊🎉🎉🎁
I have a theory that mutants have been in mcu but maybe Kang is working with a powerful/rich/influenced mutants like Mr Sinister, Professor X or Emma Frost that who paid the Ancient One to use the same spell as Spiderman and Strange to make the entire world forget mutants exist in exchange for building the sanctum sanatorium to what we know it as today.
Thank you for bringing up David, I still think it’d be awesome to have Dan Stevens back
The real reason is Marvel didn’t own the rights yet… but it’s A great idea to use to explain why there hasn’t been any mutants
They’ve owned the rights for a while!
I agree! This is why the High Evolutionary will unlock the mutant gene…
Josh’s reason is exactly what I was thinking basically how could kang do anything if you have omega level mutant out there that essentially can already do what he is attempting to do he doesn’t want an army of those variate omega level mutants at his front door literally able to essentially beat him basically in his mind having mittens would be having too many chefs in the kitchen and he only wants to be head chef
the reach is so long I thought I was on Mr. Fantastic's channel
Kang would catch hell with the Marquee of Death.
Never thought of it in this perspective…yo kang making plays before we can even think about em
Let’s gooooo baby!
You've cracked the code!
Looking forward seeing Marvel Studios Avengers Kang Dynasties
I was in error about Cables ability to time travel coming from Graymalkin aka Ship. I was thinking of "Body sliding" which is tHe ship being able to teleport Cable wherever he wants to go. His "time traveling" ability in some part is psionic. He may no longer have this ability and yes he does employ a time traveling device located in his fully cybernetic arm. I'm not sure if it's T. O. related or just future tech.
Bro you just blew my mind
But wait, isn't "Who He Remains" the one that takes care of 616/sacred timeline? Wouldn't he want mutants to actually exist if they can defeat Kang?
Cable is bad ass that was the best part.
or he who remains wanted them to appear later to stop the other kangs
This is a strong theory!
Brilliant
mess with you heavy josh but lets be 100 the only reason is because marvel is taking babysteps with the mutants smh
I like Cable and just wanted to bring him up, love it! Im a Cable fan also.
Man I love cable and some of the weirder timeline shenanigans with the X-Men. It was really nice to hear a short version of his origin since I read so many random comic books about him as a kid and tried to piece together what was going on. His arc as adoptive father to Hope would be awesome on screen. Also the Moira revelation in Hickman's X-Men was so mind-blowing. If you don't read comics, y'all are missing out.
Cable's one of my all time favorite characters in comics. But I thought his origin story and his conflict with Stryfe was far more interesting than him raising Hope. Cable was the messiah of mutants in his time as well. I never understood why Cable and Kang have never fought in the comics because they are from around the same era, just in different timelines. I also always was somewhat resentful of Hope because she's basically just a White female version of Synch
I'm kinda pissed that I didn't think of this.
I like this theory, would be hella interesting and could provide a great opportunity to see a reverse of the “no more mutants” line from wanda to bring them in instead of erase them, and no she is not dead, also makes sense of the threshold scenes lining up
I honestly am done with Wanda, like Jesus just do the mutants without her. Marvel can't do nothing right like for at least one storyline adapation.
As much as I like Wanda, I don't think she needs to be involved in this. Like, what would she do? "Let there be mutants"?? What is a mutant? Why would she just create a bunch of superpowered humans out of nothing?
Nah, I prefer they already in the MCU and just hidden from the public so we can have old mutants like Magneto, Apocalypse and Wolverine.
@@skydreamer4225 fair enough, but they could do both an have a mixture
Ms. Marvel was born before The Avengers took place, meaning if she wasn't supposed to be around, the timeline would have been pruned.
Scarlet witch'ss power bloomed around the time Kang control ceased. Coincidence?
This makes pretty good sense, except for him allowing Wanda to exist. Tech allowing her to become who she became brought Dr. Strange to a universe where X-Men(Professor X) actually already are among us. Yes the 616 is the sacred time line, but Kang wasn’t dead before Wanda started her path of Darkness aka killing Vision. Remember, the Avenger’s were supposed to do what they did, according to the TVA. Plus Wanda is the same in all universes, as a Nexus being, therefore she is a mutant in the 616 right? Just the most powerful, due to the Darkhold. Josh my love you have a fatal flaw in your theory. Also I’ve seen the 1st 4 episodes of She Hulk & let’s just say you’ll be rethinking this after you see episode 2 for sure. I’m not getting taken off the Disney List, but the MCU is about to get A LOT of hate, especially after playing that classic X-Men theme at the end of Ms. Marvel🤬 & now with what they’re doing with SheHulk ARGH, get ready Den Family. But I’m still a mega fan
Ps I sent you a DM about a certain. Show I’ve seen, check your DM’s Josh. I’ve done this with 3 shows now lol 😂
Love this theory! He would have to subdue them after WWII though. Can't ruin Magneto's origins.
I think mutants are just one part of what He Who Remains was doing. He also wants to avoid more Kangs. So I don’t think it’s just that mutants can stop him. Mutants leads to a Kang. Loki variants lead to a Kang. That’s why the sacred time line must be aggressively pruned. One deviation can lead to timelines that include everything that leads to a Kang. I think more than mutants were pruned.
This is a pretty idea
Would it be crazy if there is a version of Kang that is a mutant and he could be the son of Hyperstorm, the villain son of Franklin Richards and Hyperstorm named his son after his uncle Cable?
Interesting 🤔
Bradley Cooper as Mr. Fantastic PLEASE 🙏
But remember he knows about mutants because he faught apocalypse as king tut
I think it's a very very crazy insanely nerdy theory indeed, I dig it Josh man hell yeah... AmenRa'
If this theory comes into fruition, would that mean Magneto wouldn't be the father for Wanda and Quicksilver in MCU 616
Mabye
The reason boils down to this: The Phoenix Force.
I feel strongly that we will end up getting Avengers vs. X-Men which involved the Phoenix Five: Cyclops, Magik, Emma Frost, Colossus and....NAMOR.
The problem is He who Remains won…. Thus no matter how powerful anyone is. There would have to be a way to win again for Kang. Otherwise, he wouldn’t be so confident to Silvi if his victory was a fluke.
Idk if you are aware of the direct connection of Kang and Apocalypse but if you theorize that Kang fears mutants you must switch up your theory to instead say that Kang only fears one mutant and that is En Sabah Nur. Kang wouldn't fear pre cogs at at all. He would definitely fear the External Mutants though.
The sacred timeline didn't just incorporate the 616. It covered multiple universes, if not how could it be dealing with so many Loki variants? It policed multiple universes and times, as one.
Cable is Nathan Summers, not Nathaniel Richards. That's Kang.
I think this is a pretty solid guess on why we haven't seen mutants in the MCU.
@S Niter I understand that, but I’m assuming they’ll have to craft an in universe explanation for the mutants not being around. I think Kang purposely leaving them out of the sacred timeline is a cool explanation for this.
It….it’s all makin sense🥲
I do wonder what a Kang the conqueror vs X-men would look like…
Maybe Deadpool 3 will be kang using Deadpool to kill mutants like Deadpool kills the marvel universe
I think it's simple Kang didn't want F4 or Mutants in 616 for multiple reasons. But when all who remains died 616 is no longer special. Now the chain effects of mutants, F4, doctor doom, etc all happen.
The F4 we're going to see is going to hopfully be from earth 6311... that is where the Kang we're all expecting is from since he's the descendants of them.
There are some problems they have to fix in this theory like magneto being the father of the maximoffs twins, or other Mrs.Marvel having a mutation gene.
The Maximoff twins believe Olek and Iryna are their birth parents in the MCU and Ms Marvel isn’t established as a mutant until after He Who Remains is killed. Everything he’s tried to avoid or cover up, is becoming uncovered now. This theory is pretty good and makes a lot of sense.
They would have to say Wanda is not a mutant and never was.
I think Kang fears Disney more…
Lol
Or we haven't seen Mutants yet simply because the MCU hasn't introduced them yet and is later than most universes who have already got mutants.
Plus, He Who Remains wanted to die because he knew Wanda would accept she is The Scarlet Witch and embrace it (what we saw in WandaVision episode 9 was always inevitable, no one was going to stop Wanda accepting she is The Scarlet Witch and embracing it. NO ONE would've stopped that from happening.
Hence with the exact timing of when Wanda embraces and accepts she is The Scarlet Witch and He Who Remains saying "we've crossed the Threshold" was him realising his time is up because Wanda has embraced and accept that she is The Scarlet Witch. She's a Nexus being, able to control space and time at will with no effort etc etc etc. He Who Remains would've simply died if he tried to do anything anyway.
You're forgetting Wanda, The Scarlet Witch, can do anything and everything she wants to, yes you heard me, CAN DO ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING SHE WANTS TO.
Mutants wouldn't of been a concern for him, only a few of them would but they'd have to know of him existing first.
Obviously now He Who Remains is dead and the sacred timeline started branching off way before he died so now the main Kang and loads of other Kang variants are coming so perhaps Mutants are needed because I'm sure there'll be some Kangs that are just basic and they can help the Avengers.
You've missed out more beyond omega level mutants like Mathew Malloy, Clyde Wyncham, Kid omega (possibly beyond omega level), Vulcan, could have cable as well perhaps like you said, MJJ for sure, Elixir is interesting but he'll be super useful when hero's are injured and then few more could be here.
There's loads of other beings that have Destiny's powers.
Nah I don't think kang is afraid of mutants I think he's afraid of himself, his variants.
Also, how will young avengers form? Billy and Tommy don’t exist in 616 universe only other universes. Maybe the MCUs version won’t have them
If you're implying that Kang is afraid of the mutants would it be that In other timelines there's been a Franklin Richard, A Phoenix force, Eternals, or my favorite Apocalypse as a good plot point that kang is Apocalypse's father And this would be the defining ending of the mcu which is Apocalypse in every timeline in every branch multi verse that Apocalypse is the end game.
What about Franklin Richard’s ?
You said Cable, Nathaniel Richards, I think you meant Nathan Summers
Cable is Nathan SUMMERS, not Richards, Lol
Kang Fears Franklin Richards
i cant wait to see more mutants in the MCU
You said Cable was Nathaniel richards. You are wrong. He is Nathan Summers
Mutants are already in the mcu with with ms marvel being announced and the xmen more then likely already exist somehow they are just hiding somehow because cyclops set photo got leaked
i dont think they'll be from 616 thought same with F4.
Cable having the techno virus and his ability to time travel have nothing to do with each other. Cables ability to time travel came by way of his Celestial space ship aka Professor aka Ship. This is the very same Celestial ship that Apocalypse came upon back in the dawn of time, entered it and came out as he is now. Again Kang doesn't fear mutants or pre cogs. Kang fears Apocalypse. Research the Apocalypse twins. That will answer a lot and will also be a strong source the films will pull from as it involved X-Men and Avengers alike. The whole debacle started in Wolverines led X-Force.
But what about Wanda,Pietro and Marvel Girl?
What if Kang did get rid of all the mutants and are or now being used as agents of the TVA… gotta remember all agents are unaware of their true origin thus the question are they all mutants… INFINITY STONE and POWERS of any kind have no affect in the TVA.
I'm not buying this one, Kang was scared of himselves. Anything is possible, though. We don't even know how big of a role mutants are going to play in his arc. I hope a big one, but probably not.
Nate Gray pal
what about the scarlet witch and quicksilver in the 616 universe? aren’t they mutants?
6:01 am i the only one who hated this run?
Simply because they didn’t have the rights to X-men. No worries tho bro keep making good vids.
This sounds interesting. I think he was afraid of Thanos too. He knew he couldn't beat him so directed the Avengers to do it for him.
Why would he be scared of thanos, he could literally time travel.
@@ronthorn3 Don't know but he's afraid of him in the comics too. They have met once in the comics to my knowledge and Thanos quickly subjugated him.
@@starvinforGarvin If he fought Thanos without his tech he's done for, he's just a genius warlord human thats it.
What ruined the comic book universe was the creation of too many mutants, too many supposedly super powered mutants.
Speak for yourself
I like this theory. But mutants should be of other eventualities he could be averse of. Mutants shouldn't be pre-eminent in that.
I thought he was keeping Wanda depowered
]
i would love to see Cable in the MCU but Josh Brolin was such a great casting choice...don´t like that he will be getting replaced cause of Thanos.
They could bring Cable in with Deadpool. You could use the character to introduce so many mutants. Led X-force, fought Apocalypse, family backstory. My only concern would be Brolin. He's 54. Would he be willing and able to handle this character long term?
Naw, they should recast Cable. Josh Brolin is too small to play him. In the comics Cable is like 6'5
inb4 the OMEGA SAGA
