Great job with the background video Ace ❤ Nice mix! For me, I am on a constant look out to capture layers of history within a frame in an effort to capture time. That theme is somewhere in every frame I capture. You’re the bomb Ace! Love your vids and instagram
I think shooting film CAN make you a better photographer in some ways. I think it really forces you to master exposure more than digital does, as you have to know you're in the right ballpark when you take the shot. With digital, you can take a shot, take a look to see how the exposure is working, and take a followup shot with the necessary adjustments. I'm very glad I started my journey on film, as it formed the habits of being very deliberate that have stayed with me into digital.
You're bang on there and I definitely agree... HOWEVER when each shot comes at a premium, I think new photographers are less likely to experiment.. I 100% agree with the sentiment, and film definitely helps learning the mechanics of exposure.
True, I especially doesn't want to review every shot via the little LCD screen I took right after. I rather wait till developed. Thats another part of the fun and discovery process.
Have you subscribed to my insta yet?
So much truth in this video. The point about making people social media props in photography.

@@acecreates Yes, I do agree that digital encourages more experimentation.

Im glad it resonated with you!
Also, the Rollie 35 was good enough for Steven Shore to shoot an entire book, certainly good enough for mere mortals like us!
