As a previously avid Doctor Who DVD collector since 2004, I really appreciate this.
I don't have any of the collection boxsets, but I have a LOT of the individual DVDs and their respective boxsets.

Thank you for summing up our miserable experience with these boxsets. I put up with the cheap Australian versions until season 9 when the waits started to exceed 6 months and that was it i just import them now. I remember when the season 22 bluray trailer released and it was like "oh that means the last set should finally be here."

I commend you for staying with the AU sets for longer than I did. My last AU one was S17, after that I managed to find S22 from the UK for relatively cheap and continued importing them.

Gosh, the region 1 releases are the bare minimum but at least they are consitent. That must be so dang frustrating.
