There hasn’t been any official announcement from Elon Musk or Tesla about using graphene batteries in their 2025 models. While graphene batteries hold a lot of promise due to their potential for higher energy density and faster charging times, they are still in the research and development phase and not yet ready for mass production.
Tesla has been focusing more on improving their lithium-ion batteries and developing their own 4680 cells, which are expected to significantly enhance the performance and range of their electric vehicles. It seems like graphene batteries might still be a few years away from being commercially viable.
