Thank you Pastor Rafferty for that short teaching on the importance of the best translation/s of the Bible. The KJV is the Bible of the Reformation. We are completing the Reformation so we should use it. It is the best translation for Protestants. The others are the CounterReformation's efforts to lead us back to Rome and the AntiChrist. For those who think their reading understanding inadequate for the KJV try Noah Webster's 1828 dictionary available online to help with understanding of unfamiliar words.

It’s nice that the King James Bible is still cherished as a great translation. There are many other good translations as well. Ones in modern English. The NASB is a great translation.

Something Pastor James failed to distinguish was translation vs paraphrase. Most of his examples were paragraphs which should never be used as study Bibles. Pastor James, I have considerable respect for you. Please guard your integrity and your credibility.
