Which one was your favourite run and why was it Richard Attwood in the 917? See some incredible Porsches at SpeedWeek! www.goodwood.com/grr/event-coverage/goodwood-speedweek/2020/9/trio-of-demonstrations-to-celebrate-porsche-at-le-mans-f1-and-twr-at-speedweek/
It's an absolute pleasure to see the driver push that 917 so hard! And really appreciated that there was no talking during that video as well! Such a glorious sounding machine!
@@Pearl_Gt Hmm perhaps, but I don't see overwhelming evidence for it beating the 919evo up the Hillclimb. Too many variables. ID.R probably has a centre of mass advantage but is 30% heavier than the 919 evo (1100kg vs 849kg). Looking at power to weight, the ID.R is 610bhp/tonne, while 919 evo more than double at 1347bhp/tonne. Tyre contact patch areas are similar. There are a couple of turns at the Nordschleife and yet lap time for 919 evo is 14% faster than that for the ID.R - ok so the turns are connected by some fairly long straight bits ;) I guess I just wanted to see the 919 evo let off the leash and then all this guessing would be academic :)

Goodwood Road & Racing 917 with Attwood was amazing! That car and the GT-40 are perfection to me.
The answer is at 2.26...
That 917 is soul-stirring!
The 917 driver was not joking!
Philip Lesbats Dickie Attwood only seems to have one speed in a 917, and that’s flat-out!
Dickie Attwood; eighty years-old and still on it...
At 33 seconds in the run he gets up that section so fast. It’s like a rocket sled going up the hill.
If there is a man who knows a 917 better than Richard Attwood... we've never met him.
Atwood understands what fans want to see, hear and smell. These are brutal acceleration, burning caster oil and screaming Dunlops.
911 RSR 4.0 liter with the center exhaust of the 2018 Le Mans Race was so incredible!

I'd take the 917 any day of the week....poetry on wheels!
Please leave my 917 alone, i was here first!
You can take 935.
XD
Glory days!!! The 917 any day. Legend....
919 was lollygagging.
Defo. I wish Porsche had let the 919 Evo off the leash in 2019 - I guess didn't want to upstage the VW ID. R :)
@@robertwatsonbath 919 is absolutely beast but idr is quicker in turns.

Beautiful, all of them!
Thankyou for the upload as we run out of videos to watch
Best looking Porches ever made.
956/ 962c missing
That 919 was absolutely battered !!
917 BEAST
Here for the RSR pink pig
Cette 917 qui danse et plus sexy qu'un canon sur une barre de pol dance....🤩🤩🤩🤩
1:49 🤩😍🥰❤🥰😍🤩
Sunday drivers, if you don't get into the low 40s your sandbagging .
Pretty sure a VW Golf would of beat the time of the 919. I don't believe a 54.03 is very fast for a 917, must of been on 40 year old tires
😎🤘
Whar ab ugly car the 919 is.
