Race to the Stones (Threshold Series) 2024

This was a bit tough going! Not much in the way of training or preparation… this was Jackie’s 4th 100km Race to the Stones event, and my first. Running was out of the question, so we walked the first 50km to our campsite, by which point I was in a lot of Achilles pain. On day 2 I decided to drop out of the race due to the pain and risk of injury, so Jackie ran the rest and did incredible, as usual!
Started in Lewknor, Oxfordshire, and ended in Avebury, Wiltshire.

i dont know why but i shed a little tear when Jackie crossed the finish line 😊, a massive big well done Jackie 👌and well done to you MR Wayne , your still a winner in my eyes matey , i hope your injuries are healing up and your back to normal again soon 😊
