The zoos are : Central Park Zoo, Bronx Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, Queens Zoo and New York Aquarium

Love the sea lions feeding time ...
. many times when i go to central park, i only watched from the outside but all those kids and all people are blocking my view ...and i dont want to pay to go inside. So this is great ... i can see now. Thanks Rainiers Family .... lots of fun

I've been to the Central Park Zoo in 2010 and 2018. It's a nice little zoo, but one of these days, I really want to get to the Bronx Zoo.

We watch The Zoo show on Discovery. One of the bears has cancer in her foot and is very old for a bear, so she isn't expected to live for very long. One of the male tigers passed away while undergoing a procedure due to being anemic. One of the camels passed away due to an infection on it's forehead. They show things that happen in the 5 zoos in New York. But maybe some of these are the reason you weren't able to see some of the animals you were looking for.
