For me this was an almost overwhelming glimpse of the past. I can't begin to count the forgotten experiences, jobs, people, places, concerts and meals that came flooding back as I watched this video. It's fun to read that for other viewers, their Boulder experiences are still ahead of them. Enjoy yourselves. It's a magical place to be.

Me too. I spent a lot of time there in the 80’s on vacation from Ohio on my motorcycle. We would camp at a campground out on Valmont area. It’s not there anymore, but my time there was a blast. I got into TexMex food at a place called Jose Muldoons. I don’t think it’s around either.

My hometown! Great video
4:29 I have such fond memories of Boulder. The hot dog stand, I am almost certain, was set up by a family friend of mine, John Hargreaves, back in the early 1970s. John and his best bud ran the stall, interspersed with climbing jaunts into the nearby Rockies. John is still alive, but sadly his best friend died during these times whilst visiting France. Tragically an avalanche swept him off Mont Blanc. This was very nostalgic footage and I plan to return to this lovely place soon. Thanks. Ad altiora!

this is great thanks! Im making a decision on where to live this winter between boulder and colorado springs. After doing a ton of research from google maps, trip adviser, and youtube I've made my decision just now after watching your video! its hands down boulder pearl St. is amazing! its close to Denver and Breckenridge witch i want to go to as well but since boulder is right in between them its perfect not only the cool hip college town for myself I'm 29yrs but your close to all the cool citys around thanks for that video its made my choice!

I had the best time of my life! Met alot of ppl. Started traveling from NJ to Denver spent about a month exploring the area by far the most fun outdoorsy mountain/ city vibe. Met some friends living the van life went out west on and off for the last 3 yrs. Seattle and all the pacific north west, San Diego, and Glenwood canyon CO. on interstate70 hands down the most beautiful places in America! That's being real general. Thank you for asking brought back a memory of the person I used to be.. Love to Live Life! If you have any questions about Colorado lmk I explored the state extensively and that's an understatement lol

I was just there a day ago for work and the surrounding area thinking I wish I had time to explore as I was getting on the plane to go back home my boss called and said you need to go back but this time for 2 weeks!!!! Can’t wait for Monday.

Born in the CO. Moved to the CA for college and stayed in SLO. Many a year I wondered if I could, would, want to leave the CA for my birth place. Back to the CO. Just don't Know.
All places changes over time, so you may not be coming back to the same place you left. Evaluate pros/cons, visit, consider family, friends, jobs, cost of living etc and make analysis. Always visit the place before moving .

lived here off & on from '91 to '14. All the great places are gone, like juanita's, catacombs, pearl's, new york deli (which was even on Mork & Mindy) philly junction so on & so forth. I'll never go back, it kinda sucks now, thanks california what will you ruin next.

Welcome to Colorado. Years ago it was same here; Sunday in Downtown was a bit of a ghost town feeling but that changes over the last ~15 years. It is no longer seen as a office-only area but is a mixed use and more apartments/condos. It is actually nice to see folks walking around after 5 or on weekends.
So how is living there?

Boulder was a sleepy little college town when I lived there fifty years ago,. It has lost some of its charm and beauty.

Pearl Street is great with fabulous street gardens.
Please do something and make your videos special rather than stereotypes.
Get inside of some beautiful bars or discotheques or restaurants where large numbers of good looking people are enjoying themselves. Take prior permission from the authorities concerned and shoot a few good clippings and add them to your video where you generally show only people available outside of those shops,bars, restaurants, pubs or discotheques. Make your videos different and more interesting and more alluring.
